CPM 0 Posted February 17, 2019 I have a 2012 Mini One D in white that I’d like to move on at cost if anyone is interested. It was a grade 2 car and hasn’t needed any prep work. It’s a 1 owner car with 76,000 miles.
Mark101 536 Posted February 17, 2019 I have the exact same car 61 plate, 77k, 1 Previous in white - not a sniff
CPM 0 Posted February 17, 2019 What’s your up for Mark and where are you located? It’s been advertised for 92 days, started at 5495 and gone all the way to 4495 and back up to 4995. Not one enquiry
Mark101 536 Posted February 17, 2019 It has been at £4,500, £4,750 and now £5,000 - price has made no difference, so I have increased the price and am waiting for that one buyer. 12 months MOT New Service 3 Months Warranty and FREE tax At £5,000 it seems good value to me. https://www.imperial-marques.co.uk/cars/mini/hatch/oned/226943/

It’s great value which is exactly why I bought mine.
EPV 631 Posted February 18, 2019 Aren’t mini buyers ultra fussy fuckers, gotta be this colour with those wheels and those bonnet stripes
CPM 0 Posted February 18, 2019 Never had a mini stick before. I think most buyers now days are more conscious of wheels and colour

Was £8995, then £7995, then £7650... Nothing. I bumped it back to £8350 after Christmas and got full asking...

In reality, you've got a bobby basic Mini that will appeal to first time buyers, but young girls like the Ice blue colour or Red for some reason. I have also found that people are avoiding diesel Minis too. I would - Stick some black stripes on the bonnet, Wrap the roof black ( £200 ) Paint the god awful pepper pots black ( £140 ) - OR - but some nice 17" Black Mini Alloys ( £350 ish ) and it will shift... Thanks Mat. I don’t usually buy diesels and won’t again. I was thinking about changing a few bits as it usually helps stickers I’ve had before
Mark101 536 Posted February 24, 2019 The wheels are vile (on mine, presume your are the same), can't imagine them looking any better in black, they are simply too small. I have considered bonnet stripes and 3/4 privacy glass but the margin isn't great either. I might be joining the never again Mini club - customers are hard work lately on the sold ones. Mark101 536 Posted February 24, 2019 (edited) See, I rarely panic over stickers - there is always one person for every car and the sort of person that wants a bog standard slow car, just looking for economy is right up my street. It was for a while my favourite car, it is currently an i20 - not because I desire one more because it is one I am pretty sure is 100% and whoever does look will buy and be delighted. The only cars I hate being stuck with are problem cars; cars you know need prep/repairs and that are likely to bite you in the ass - godduns like this are welcome to an extended stay. I leave them to the specialists, the greedy fussy punters are tragic.
CCC 31 Posted March 4, 2019 (edited) I've got two sets of MINI 5 Spokes (can't remember the official name) if you're interested in them? We'd bought them for this very purpose (tarting up Billy Basic Mini's) but after too many warranty issues over the last 6 months, I'm giving Mini's a swerve for the moment. Ironically that would suit a friend who's after a small car but they don't want a MINI due to reliability concerns which aren't an issue on the D (we've got one and love it, though 2 learner drivers in the family gave the clutch an early death). If you're interested in trading it PM me and I'll see if I can persuade them. Edited March 4, 2019 by CCC

He has a boring wheeled Mini auto and I've previously suggested he gets some better ones for it.
