Small mercies, the punter legged me, my fault

Just bought at Manheim and the horn doesn’t work nor any of the steering wheel controls, it’s not showing an error on the snap on and all the fuses are ok, is it usually the steering wheel squib on these? Many thanks

It’ll be finding the door blend spindles second hand that’ll be a ball ache -
Guys, a chap has bought this from me unseen and is due to collect next week, anyhow the heaters are blowing hot on the drivers side and cold on the passenger (both should be cold), are these known for this? A quick google pointed to blend doors behind the vents, anyone come across this before? thanks Andy i can post a naked lady if it helps as per facebook rules

what a load of tripe, did the dog eat your homework? its almost impossible to do what you did -
they told me it would be £500 if they had fixed it, it sticks as they tell you how clever they are and miss the obvious, they even told me to try super unleaded

genuine knock sensor fixed, shit performance from the so called auto electricians VSS
-
Ok cheers guys, I’ll update
-
the car was with top auto spark chap in the area, the knock sensor will have been a euro parts special, what happens when the knock sensor isn't working?
-
that was my first thought but surely the auto electrician would have checked all was well in the signal (it was) ps what a week, I hate cars
-
They’ve checked all that out apparently, ecu taking to the knock sensor and vice versa, the first mechanic did say when they changed the clutch they smashed the sensor
-
The car is a 2009 and after a clutch change started putting the eml on (knock sensor), we fitted another knock sensor and it still put the eml on (knock sensor), I was advised to take it to an auto electrician (VSS Sunderland, very well regarded) who advised it must be the ECU as the sensor was fine, they sourced one from ebay, opened it up and swopped the data, they also pointed out the clutch change had no bearing on the problem, they checked the live data and everything is working as it should but they have hit a dead end on how to fix, I have even filled it up with super plus in case that was the issue, i am now at a loss, does anyone have any ideas? ta Andy
-
yes no idea how though

they can LEGALLY run anything up to its reserve
