Timing chain mate. Send me the chassis and I will see if it qualifies for recall

Hmm. I was worried it might be this! It doesn’t rattle or make any noise though? Or does that not matter?

  2. As the title says. I’ve got a BMW 320i with a random misfire issue. Changed all the plugs and coils.  The misfire keeps moving around randomly and sometimes not at all! I drove it about 20 miles the other day and it was perfect! Then all of a sudden...random misfire again. No other codes stored apart from the cylinder(s) with the misfire.

Has anyone come across this before? Thanks

I've also got alerts on vehicles and spent this morning calling to see why markers haven't been cleared etc. Absolutely ridiculous if you ask me

Yes, I have just noticed some of mine are now showing outstanding finance! How did you get on when calling them?

I've read a few times about buyers negotiating cars level with BCA, can it be done? I'm on silver and if I can get a better deal I'll be onto them tomorrow

I did this the other week. Had to speak with a branch manager. He sorted it the same day

Very busy just outside London and looking at all the optimism and sky high prices at BCA Blackbushe today I'd guess it's not just me.

I was there today. Prices were high to say the least!

On Wed a customer booked a viewing for an Audi for midday today (Friday). Did not want to leave a deposit to secure the car.

Just turned up now with his girlfriend, about an hour late and after a 110 mile drive, had a 10 minute look around the 14 year old 119K mile car, came to the office, had a very brief look at the extensive paperwork, asked about a lower price, then the question I hate most: "Is there any place to get some food around here?" to apparently think it over a lunch.

I pointed him towards our village centre but have the feeling I will never see or hear from him again and have a couple of cars I need to go and pick up this afternoon... Will give it another hour, then go.

Why do buyers do some of things that they do??

Ive had this exact same thing happen to me a couple times.

They left to have a coffee and a think. Then phoned an hour later to say we are on our way home (100 miles away) and will let you know. Never to be heard from again.

It makes me think if something puts them off? Or they are not genuine in the first place? But if they’re not serious then why waste an entire day driving about? I dunno

4 paid and gone.  Clio woman was a no show last night and I have someone desperate to see the Qashqai which hasn't arrived here yet.

I had a clio woman that was a no-show last month. I’m still annoyed about it even though the car is sold and gone lol.

Agreed, however I'm not convinced you can shoe-horn 11 cars into 100m2 so I suppose "big enough" is subjective!

I have 2200 sq ft and I can squeeze 14 in at a push, with my offices and toilets taking up 200sq ft.

Are you getting 14 cars into a 2000sqft unit?

  9. I had the same issue last year on a Qashqai cvt box.

Luckily a fluid change solved it (not sure for how long though as I sold the car pretty much overnight).

I remember speaking with Dave about it at the time, he said it’s common for the bearings to fail and the noise you’re hearing is just the start, it will be back!

I wont risk buying another one, I think I was lucky.
