It seems I've been riding my luck!

Dire in regards to returns you have had personally? If so what's the common issues you have?
-
I've done ok so far, out of 7 Corsas I've diagnosed one with co2 sensor and left customer to sort and this one, my main problems have been with unreported or mis-reported bodywork! I still can't believe Aston Barclay class rust as age related therefore don't include it in their condition reports! I agree 100% I'd never deal with an issue unprofessionally, I'll admit I struggle with "hmmm, is that really up to me to sort", there seems to be a fine line which I need to learn

So far Corsa's, fiesta, C1, Micra, Alto max ive had in stock is 3, I now know that as a doorstepper at this level, I'm nowhere near being able to call this a job Already planning on changing approach Mark, no more "only first cars"

I honestly think it all depends on area etc, so far I've done ok with them and no issues and the buyers have all been really nice

Of course

As you all know I'm rather new to this but already it annoys me the preconceptions people have about car dealers, rocking up at the door with the CRA15 saved on their phone expecting the car to be a shed and the dealer dodgier than a pikeys morals

Done Myself, can I have a pat on the back?

As I'm new to the game I'm yet to have a return however I've previously sorted one fault with a Corsa co2 sensor a few weeks back and I've today been told the Corsa I sold on Monday has the EML light on. No light present upon collection or recorded on my PDI, customer confirms it also didn't appear during their journey home either. I know what my legal obligations are but I need to learn what assistance to offer, in this case what would you do? Go to the car and plug machine in? Tell them to come to me? Tell them to take it to a garage? Tell them the fault was not present when it was sold so not really my issue?

Sold an 09 Corsa Monday to a young local lad fresh out of passing his test and he bought his dad and his dad's mate with him who decided to give it a "good once over". This included revving it to redline, pulling on the stationary wheels to "check the bearings" and smelling the coolant to check if the head gasket had gone! I just let him get on with it but it did make me wonder, what's the worst you guys have had to endure with the "buyers dad's super mechanic mate"?
