Redbush tea makes a refreshing brew

I've got a lead on a Corsa I need to move on, saying all sorts of rubbish, first it was "2k cash & 1k finance" then "I've been accepted with CF247"
-
Whaaaaaaat!!!! However for this deal yes I would
-
That'll do then
-
Does anyone know WHAT CF247 class as a "reputable dealer"? ie what are their requirements to be one of their dealers?
-
I LOATHE these people, I had a message on shpock (I know I know) 2 nights ago from Mr Rizwan for a Corsa at 2250 (was 2495) which said "can I collect Saturday for £1450 cash" to which I replied "Hmmm let me just run that past my business manager, he said sorry but get fu**ed". It turns out Mr Rizwan didn't appreciate my reply and reported it to shpock LOL

Only another 6 pages to go chaps come on
-
The assured reports are a load of crap, performed by unqualified people in conditions that mean the tests can't possibly be completed correctly, but I haven't got an opinion about it

Lucas please actually answer these questions, have you sold the 3 cars you bought or are they even prepped and advertised? If you were here asking for advice on how to sell cars fair enough but you're here asking for advice on how to run a garage!!! Does that not ring any alarm bells to you or are you that good at business it doesn't actually matter if you've never even bought and sold a car, let alone open and successfully run an already struggling garage? Why is the garage struggling now? How will you make it a success?
-
Surely as a successful businessman you know that entering a trade you know nothing about, such as car sales, is a risk let alone going into a garage? You're already clueless about selling cars and now you want to buy a garage? I'm calling bull on all of this, and that's coming from the infamous fu** up Benji
-
What business were you in previously?
-
"The problem is that I am not a mechanic" isn't that a prerequisite for opening a garage? What's your plan Lucas to employ mechanics? Have you employed people before? Just out of interest what business we're you in before? Property?
-
What tickles my sausage is ASTON BARCLAY have the cheek to charge their fees but don't advertise that they do not include rust in their condition reports!!!
-
This is exactly why as a newbie it makes more financial sense to use an "auction buying service" with someone who is a black etc card holder
-
That's what Chris @ Flipping cars does and very successfully
-
Isn't that why "someone" would pay these "professionals"?
-
Also people like me and lucas who come into the trade knowing nothing about buying, these buyers could take (some of) the risk away of buying misdescribed lemons. There's 2 sides to it, you'll have one side saying "what a load of bollocks, if you can't be arsed buying yourself your in the wrong game" and then there's the "I don't mind putting the risk into someone else's hands" side
-
When I worked at the well known auction site in Walsall there was a blonde woman there every day buying on behalf of clients, every sale she was there, must of been making some real ££££ Targeted advertising I'd guess, get a little website up, email every trader or dealer you can find
-
Out of pure interest, do any of you chaps use "auction buyers" to source your stock? I'm not for one second saying I'm considering it, I've noticed a fellow colleague of mine has started doing it in the Midlands and I wondered are these guys in that much demand?

Is this a shameless plug Freddo? "rather than Automotive Specialists such as ourselves"....
-
"I just discovered that my driver license only allows driving the automatic car today!"..... But you were aware that you had only passed your test in an auto right? as you just confirmed it? Now I know why I got so much stick And to do that you gotta be one hell of a DUNCEPOT right??!!!
