Does anyone know how long it takes A4C to issue a release code? I won an octavia yesterday evening at Derby, booked the train from Morecambe last night, this morning got on the train, called Derby to check they received money to be told "DON'T COME UNTIL YOU HAVE A RELEASE CODE".... Whoops

This ^^^ so as long as you have a signed sales receipt you'll be fine

Was the payment sent from a business account? My wife was a business bank advisor for Lloyd's who thinks normally this would only be done if the issuing bank thought the transaction was fraudulent. Normally a bank transfer cannot be recalled UNLESS it was sent from a business account in which case can be recalled quite easily. This all might depend on the actual banks and their policies though

Imagine if it was me that had started the threads Lucas has! I find it hilarious that because we all believe he's a rich successful business man these questions aren't as offending as they would be if a newbie like me had asked them. Seriously come on this guy HAS to be yanking our sausages

I'll keep it short, so this happened yesterday, ironically just after I read the other new "Facebook" thread.

Lucas can I ask why cars? What's the attraction with car sales? Even with someone running it you still believe you will get a return on your investment and then some?

I came up with the idea of selling only "first cars" such as Corsas etc, it doesn't work, sell cars, sell anything you can that will make profit, anything. Niches in this industry only work if you are at a high level such as performance, exotics or possibly vans, in my humble opinion. I've looked at everything, MOT ability vehicles such as vehicles adapted for disabled use etc, electric cars only etc etc but to do that I'd need to stock newer more expensive cars, which I can't.
