this doesnt add up, if you look up rac approved garages, this garage is not rac approved, according to rac website, and the garages website is not advertising as being rac approved ? what is this advisory ?

To be fair I had a customer take a BMW there back in April.

I spoke to Dale who was very helpful and upfront. (I.e agreed the customer was a twunt)

PM me your details, assuming you are Breckland area?

.....my builder has been abducted by aliens.

I’ve got a couple of days off for Christmas.

£250 an hour (kesh) + as much coffee and biscuits as I can eat (standard builders contract that)

Sold as built and seen. No guarantee given.

P.S Your builder hasn’t been abduction by aliens.

    They are bloody aliens.

If you see some of the quotes they give you can tell they live on another forking planet.

Can anyone advise we’re to buy Stock from     £2-5 k from auction U.K. based as my recent experience I have been buying from Scotland and too much work requires with cars from there  ie rust most have been 12 plate onwards.

Would like to hear anyone opinion (am based in northwest) don’t mind travelling.

    thanks guys

If you find somewhere let us all know.

Promise not to bid on anything you are interested in.

Wouldn’t want to ruin a good thing for you.

    P.s Love your bargain buckets!

  4. When I asked my account manager about days in stock she said “ I’m not aware of any plans to introduce it”

So I knew it was going to happen.

Next will be “best deals first” search.

With the new “High, Fair etc” price banners are they going to tell everybody how much it is over priced? Makes sense (to Autotrader)

  5. Good luck if you go for it.

Just be aware of how much profit you might actually make.

Unless you set up a limited company you are already paying 40% tax on any profit.

Add 20% Vat on your margin, difference between buying and selling price.

So if you want to walk away with £500 profit in your pocket by the time you account for all the prep, advertising, etc then you will need a couple of grand mark up.

As a retailer you cannot sell a vehicle SAS, you cannot dissolve a consumers rights.

You can however sell it as unfit for purpose, unroadworthy, untested, without a current MOT and only fit for parts or to be repaired. It must be trailored away and the billy must be fully aware and has signed / agreed in no uncertain terms

    Spot on.

Check out Lawgistics. They do specific invoices for this as well as pre delivery checklists.

  7. Re the V5.

If you do an HPi has it increased in owners?

I would imagine, from what you posted, that the car was invoiced to the finance company. Therefore your contract is with them not the customer.

Personally I would be upfront with the finance company and explain how you have tried to help the customer but they seem unwilling to work with you.
