Furthermore a car needs to be taxed/insured if it is parked in a public car park, a lay by, pub car park etc.

Hi I’m David.
I’ve been buying and selling cars for the best part of 40 years and I haven’t any idea where to buy cars cheap.

To be fair I had a customer take a BMW there back in April.
I spoke to Dale who was very helpful and upfront. (I.e agreed the customer was a twunt)

.....my builder has been abducted by aliens.
I’ve got a couple of days off for Christmas.
£250 an hour (kesh) + as much coffee and biscuits as I can eat (standard builders contract that)
Sold as built and seen. No guarantee given.
P.S Your builder hasn’t been abduction by aliens.
They are bloody aliens.
If you see some of the quotes they give you can tell they live on another forking planet.

How bad can a Tesla be when one of their own mechanics would rather have a Mini!!

Look on the bright side.
You won't have to save up for a divorce

Dull owners.
Have you ever talked to one?

Look in the service book.
There will be a list of codes.
Then go to here to choose the model and decipher.

When I asked my account manager about days in stock she said “ I’m not aware of any plans to introduce it”
So I knew it was going to happen.
Next will be “best deals first” search.
With the new “High, Fair etc” price banners are they going to tell everybody how much it is over priced? Makes sense (to Autotrader)

The dealer is still going.
Just seems these are just sitting down the side of the garage.
If you look on Google Earth, BS140QZ, you can see a lot more cars packed at the back.
Here's one of their gems done 20 miles https://www.motors.co.uk/car-36399132/?i=1&m=ds

Good luck if you go for it.
Just be aware of how much profit you might actually make.
Unless you set up a limited company you are already paying 40% tax on any profit.
Add 20% Vat on your margin, difference between buying and selling price.
So if you want to walk away with £500 profit in your pocket by the time you account for all the prep, advertising, etc then you will need a couple of grand mark up.

Apparently they also leak water from behind the cambelt.
Special tools required. Around 10 hours labour.
I think you would help her by not buying one!

Was it fitted on Friday the 13th?

They know they are upsetting dealers.
They just don't care.

53 minutes ago, Arfur Dealy said:As a retailer you cannot sell a vehicle SAS, you cannot dissolve a consumers rights.
You can however sell it as unfit for purpose, unroadworthy, untested, without a current MOT and only fit for parts or to be repaired. It must be trailored away and the billy must be fully aware and has signed / agreed in no uncertain terms
Spot on.
Check out Lawgistics. They do specific invoices for this as well as pre delivery checklists.

Re the V5.
If you do an HPi has it increased in owners?
I would imagine, from what you posted, that the car was invoiced to the finance company. Therefore your contract is with them not the customer.
Personally I would be upfront with the finance company and explain how you have tried to help the customer but they seem unwilling to work with you.
