My bank santander who I spoke to on friday as I had a problem, the business side is phone only and fair enough it took 40 minutes on hold but I was basically asked why are you not claiming the bbls loan,I have until the 4th November at the moment according to govt advise that may be extended, you dont have to go 50g you can have say 10 if you prefer,so long as you have a business bank account the set up should literally take 10 minutes if you are slow or 2 minutes if you are a starter

I havent decided if I want the govt groats as basically my setup wouldn't really benefit unless I wanted to invest but I'm slowing down not speeding up

maybe I could borrow the full 50 g  get some gold chains and tracky bottoms and go and start some local door knocking loans at 10 er a week mate or the dog gets it

If you don't need it put it in Premium Bonds.

Instantly available. No interest but might win up to £1,000,000 (less my 10%)

  2. Unfortunately I’m locked into the Apple “experience” having got iPads.

Just upgraded to the iPhone 11, pretty similar to the 8 to be honest.

Been with Vodafone since the year dot so always get a good loyalty discount.

If you are changing networks always buy online. Sometimes distance selling is a good thing!

  3. This was the response I got from my Trading Standards when I asked to clarify if click and collect was allowed.

Please find attached current legislation regarding restrictions during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Funnily enough I was thinking about volunteering for fruit and veg picking but there’s not a lot of opportunities in east London. But I needn’t have worried because there appear to be plane loads of Albanians being flown in to help farmers, so that’s good news!

I’m volunteering for the Norfolk Mountain Rescue Team?

I remember reading about that David .its opens up the debate of should you mot cars before putting them on sale a garage i do some work for sometimes has an mot station and mot cars when they come in and if the customer requests they will re mot on the pdi if its been in stock for a a few months .

I guess it depends on whether you want a customer to drive away on the day.

I get a Pdi done when they come in. Apart form emissions, I believe, everything is checked that is on an Mot.

I then get the Mot done when the car is sold.

I prefer doing it this way because brakes can seize, springs can break even while sitting still on a forecourt.

  6. It’s important to note that all they were prosecuted for was offering unroadworthy cars for sale.

So make sure that when you advertise or put a price in a car it is legal. Don’t let the Mot run out.

According to Trading Standards unprepared stock should be in a separate area.

I know it’s unlikely nowadays to get a random visit but you never know.

Minimum wage is currently £8.21 per hour, doubt very much  if many car salesmen are on minimum wage, average hours worked 37 [office for national statistics ] 37 x £8.21 = £303. 80% furlough is £242, obviously less hours less pay

now if there was a petition for minimum wage workers to get at least minimum wage ?

Due to being self employed and making over £50,000 I will get nothing.

    Where is my petition!!!
