Strange but I've always had decent people on Zafpigs, only do 1.6 petrols though;).....no diesels and 1.8 gasolines they always seem to be possessed with unfixable ECU errors and running issues.

I've got a 1.8 that needs a pcv but it does have 120 on the clock.. tick tock.

Dire in regards to returns you have had personally? If so what's the common issues you have?

They're just crap.. ecu problems, seat clips, gloveboxes, head gasket, timing chains need replacing, subframes, they go through droplinks for the fun of it.

  3. Crap. Done 4 or 5, usually on at least 15 by now.

Absolutely terrible, just made enough to keep the lights on and on top of that had an accident in the recovery truck the other day run into the back of an older chap who pulled out on me and then slammed on for no reason whatsoever.. his excuse "I'm not familiar with an auto and pressed the wrong pedal"..

  5. Good evening guys

I normally attend auctions and buy in person, I buy bread and butter stock up to £3K and there is a few I would like to bid on at BCA Derby tomorrow morning and I am 2 hours away unable to attend.

The vendors are Trade centre no reserve and Bristol Street Motors.

Do you think if I phone BCA in the morning they will be able to set me up with a online account sharpish so I can bid at 9:55 AM?

    Any help is appreciated

    Cheers

is that from auction or do you buy them from private sellers like ebay etc? even the tat at auction fetches great prices

From auction, I'm not going to go dishing out "trade secrets" and their is no get rich quick scheme it is just about buying the right shit and making it look good.

  7. We recently had a case on a PX being sold as spares or repairs due to a knocking noise, customer accepted this and after viewing went away to think about it.. they sent via text message "thanks for showing us the car blah blah, we were concerned about the knocking noise would you accept £XXX so we can get the noise investigated".. 2 weeks after they purchased the car for £525 via debit card over the phone we received a charge back letter in the post, the reason was that the car was misdescribed and not fit for purpose. We gathered our evidence and replied one week later.

After a couple of weeks had gone by we won the chargeback case as that single line text message saved our beef massively!

It's not impossible to win these cases although not all cases are as clear cut as mine.

That's absolutely fine. It's all about risk taking. If you are more risk prone you can do really well in this business.

If a dealer sells a prestige car for 150K on a credit card they are so much braver than me, especially if they used stocking facility to buy that car in.

Absolutely, if we didn't take card we definitely would have lost a few ££££ in deals over time.

I don't think they have a stocking loan.. more like a professional individual that provides "unsecured" loans.

  8. I sell cars up to £3K and take full balances on credit and debit cards.

There is a dealer around the corner from me who sells both lower end stock and prestige cars upto £150K they also take credit and debit cards on everything and anything.

  9. We pay £130 for 10 cars, during the trial month we sold one substantial car and one cheapie so signed up for 6 Months.

Sphock Motors approached us and offered 20 cars for £80 on a 12 Month contract and he assured us we would sell LOADS!! I then asked around and everyone said it was garbage so I never bothered.

  10. I would tell them to mind their own, be civil but if they're watching customers when arriving that's just weird and you should have a little chat with them.

Believe it or not I have the same problem with a neighbouring business at my premise, they're nosey parkers and think no one can see them starring out of the window.

You will get this everywhere you go :)
