  1. Hello

I have an agreement with some small trade sites locally to buy all their trade-ins however I'm always looking to buy more, my yard is in St Helens.

Is anyone local or in the North West wanting to part with any trade ins you currently have? I will take them regardless of the condition, running or dead it makes no difference to me.

My phone number is 07538652103 feel free to give me a call if you have something that may be of interest.

    Cheers

  2. I've just signed up with Premier Insurance Winsford, the figure is just shy of £6K but covers 2 young drivers (3 years driving history) and an experienced driver.

The process was smooth and the price although may appear high is not bad at all when you look at the price of private car policies.

  3. Hey All,

We have two recovery trucks, a handful of cars for sale and a garage that we do Servicing / Repairs, Tyres, all the usual things.

Up until now we have insured everything individually at a cost of about £4K, recently I enquired about trade insurance with Tradex about 5 months ago, the price was a reasonable £480 per month for a 20, 23 and 55 year old.. However recently there has been an insurance hike I believe and the cost has now gone up by £1200 (Just shy of £6K per year with the deposit).

It is affordable but is it reasonable? I would probably say not.

Do you have any recommendations for brokers that would cover a 20, 23 and 55 year old all company directors for a LTD company.

    Thank you guys

  4. Also worth bearing in mind that the majority of buyers do not view the car prior to making the purchase (good for you).

If a potential buyer does view the vehicle, they are only allowed to Start the vehicle and they're not allowed to put the vehicle in gear or drive it whatsoever.

  5. I use Copart reguarly, as a rule though I never buy from private (traders / individuals), I only ever buy from insurance companies (unrecorded light damage or cat d).

Prices can sometimes go over the odds for the likes of BMWs, Audis, Mercs all the mainstream cars.. the others do go for quite good prices (prices are in line with other auction places such as BCA, eBay).

They load/unload cars using forklifts so sometimes things can get damaged, other than that you would probably achieve slightly below trade in value for your Xtrail if you tart it up before they collect.

There is a £90 listing fee and there's also a collection fee if needed.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers
