  1. We have a snap on solus 2018 model, works well but you will never use half of the features.. overpriced and we have it on tick with about £1500 owing.
  2. Fantastic I would love this but my pockets aren't deep enough sadly.
  3. Take the extra £800, you might need it for warranty claims
  4. I have one at the moment 110K, clutch & gearbox knackered.. been parked up for 2 months.. it was absolutely fine before this happened apart from it had a low bite.
  5. Why have any sympathy if he has blown it up as a result of his own daft actions.
  6. If you have only just started trading and are a ltd company, dissolve the company before a court case is filed and start under a new name but don't repeat the same stupid mistakes as you did this time round. Some people might not agree with the above but in the real world this happens on a daily basis, it's no worse than PLCs hiring workers on a zero hour contract, minimum wage and getting rid of them whenever they please.
  7. I was also having issues earlier just white page loading.
  8. I have found that below £2K very fussy.. £2K - £3K you can get away with things like small rips in leather seats, scuffed alloys, minor dents.
  9. Silver, Gold and now Platinum for us. It does entice me to buy more from BCA in a way as i want to keep my 50% off food
  10. Benji.. @MrV this is why you should not buy from these auction houses. Suspicious
  11. Sounds good Lucas.. you're getting better, hopefully you will have your own pitch soon and all the fun that goes along with it.
  12. You bought an Astra twin top, what made you think that was a good idea?
  13. No.. I like to buy decent cars not shite.
  14. F#cking hell Benji, just buy from BCA or Manheim and stop using these shady auction houses. You will be able to inspect in person and go home happy that you haven't bought a shitter (only joking, it'll still be a shitter).
  15. Last time I went brighouse breakfast cost me £12 for me and my missus on Platinum.. an old man owns the cafe and is miserable as sin it's not a chain like all the other BCA sites.. everywhere else it costs us £6 combined. Cars ain't cheap either.
  16. What a load of bollocks.. I guess we should all just go back to cash as every other payment method is absolute crap and is able to be recalled.
  17. Your current market is where I am and I agree it is very hard, for example today there was a 2006 Nissan Note 1.6 SVE, Good Spec, 97K Mileage, Some History, Nice car a couple of dents but would of retailed for £1695 / £1795 on my pitch.. today this sold for £1050, cap clean is £910, CAP is miles out for Nissan Notes and they never make clean. 4 Months ago I bought the same car in a respectable condition, slightly less spec for £475 hammer price and sold for £1495 No prep other than an MOT and Service. The problem with this end of the market as I'm sure you're aware it attracts all the fly by night traders, Asian and Polish Car sales groups who are flipping cars for £50 profit and it is only getting worse.
  18. Already serviced it before it went on the pitch.. gutted wasted some valuable 10-40 on that piece of shit broken engine
  19. Bit the bullet and put an engine in it, runs and drives fine now. Going to take the head off the old engine and see what caused the ruckus.
  20. Wow that's rough.. this makes me think about all the crap purchases I've bought at auction from Evans Halshaw, most recent one a Citroen C1 that needed an engine.
  21. This has to be Benji trying to annoy us all over again, take your £200K and have a year long holiday. I'm going to offer you the opportunity of a life time, 1 rented premises & rented pitch low over heads incl Workshop, £30K worth of cars (20 cars ready to go).. in a nut shell this is a business in a box all for the small price of £200K. Then I will go and have a year long holiday using your kesh.
  22. Make him walk the plank.. he is an imposter! I reckon he's an amateur journalist..
  23. Each to their own.. you keep buying online but until the Assured Reports and Condition reports have a massive improvement I'll keep using my own judgement and eyes to buy cars.
  24. At first when you're starting small you can cherry pick but when you get bigger you'll find that your so fussy that attending auctions will consume your entire week trying to find the "right stock", like Benji said buy anything with money across it as long as it has a decent reputation and isn't falling apart.
  25. Haha I know it seems to have embedded it's self in my latest reply. I've managed to delay hand over until after Christmas so if it needs an engine then it gets an engine.. we will check the exhaust tomorrow morning. Fed up who would have thought these little tin can cars would be so complex. I've been told it may potentially be an ECU fault which shuts down the injector in Cyl 3, however it seems to be very rare.
