I know exactly where you are now, you are about 4 miles from me. I would have thought you would get a few walk on customers considering who is next door to you. I am sure it will pick up, you were doing ok up to now from your previous posts...

zafira 1.9 cdti to buy or not to buy....

Thanks very much... phoned the guy to check if gearbox had had work done and it hadn’t so cancelled the viewing. This game is certainly a learning curve.... 1 year in and more confused than ever ha ha. on a serious note I need to change my stock profile, this is why I was looking at the Zafira. I sell mainly Clio’s which have super reliable engines but poo electrics so prep times are long and margins are small. cheers. -

Hi guys, Just a note to ask your opinions on the 1.9 cdi powered Vauxhall Zafira. I have sold a couple of the petrol variants and they have been good but I seem to remember some negative feedback on reliability and hassle factor in previous posts on here. The reason I ask is that I already have a few hassle cars and at the moment want to avoid if possible any more. The car is an 09 plate with 107,000 miles on the clock.... your feedback would be appreciated. thanks Dean.

Hi Steve, I am just coming to the end of my first year trading and went for Bollingtons. I am 50 with 1 years no claims due to having company cars. My policy was for trading from home, cars up to 10k and includes motorcycles. I paid £715.00. As I say my renewal is due soon so let’s see what the quote is. good luck with your new venture. Regards Dean.

Good luck....

Thanks Ian.... to be fair I would love to just deal in these. EK, there was a 53 plate up for sale on EBay last year had covered 560,000 miles and he still sold it for a £1,000...

Thanks Simon & BHM... Lets see if I can get the deal done..

Morning all, Just a note to get your thoughts on the sales potential of a Volvo V70 D5 but with manual transmission. I have sold an auto but am unsure if the manuals are sought after. I know from what you guys have said in the past a manual transmission in a Merc is the kiss of death, so just wondered if it was the same with the Volvos.... Many thanks Dean.

Sounds good. I will be about...

You are right, it was very cheap, the reason for my question was down to space, defiantly not money... can't afford to take up any space with a car that would not turnover quickly.
-
They put it on Gumtree and sold within an hour of posting.....

I am loving learning the lingo from you experienced guys....

Cheers for replies all... Great advice.

Hi Guys, I have been offered a Peugeot 1007 1.4 HDI for sensible money. It is a truly hateful looking thing but potentially it has a nice profit in it. Anybody have any experience with these bad boys, as said before I am very limited for space so don't want something sitting for ages... Cheers Dean.
