Packed up with dealer auction , fed of wasting our time , get there and i swear its a different car 80% of the time .
Haven't done a deal with them for ages , Sytner auction too is same ,
Even had one that was described as Scratched , Dented ,Painted on rear bumper badly . EML light on , two tyres less the 3mm , one key , and only two services at 50 k .
The car was NOT scratched , not dented , had no paint , eml light not on , all tyres excellent , two keys , full seat history with cam belt too . Fishy Fishy as we got it £900 under book for a Cupra R .Just wanted a wash and hoover , Thinking tagged for someone at a price , inside job wink wink or am i getting cynical ,

You had nice neighbours Nick wonder why they don't just realise we are all people .
Didn't like foreigners and got them to vote leave lol split my coffee reading that , You were a lucky chap to get the cars back though .
Some people just cant mind their own noses can they ? reporting your cars for no tax outside your house . sad lives they lead don't they .
We had one neighbour like that "reported my lad who was an apprentice then to the council for working on cars in my garage and running a business " was his own car by the way " she got four speeding fines in one day but she took the 6 month ban quite badly and then suffered a driving while banned ticket too and got an extension ban of 18 mths added and a £600 fine , cant imagine where that report was from Justice is served on a sweet plate . One good turn deserves another .

drive 400 yds , get out walk back , go 400 yds past the first car , get out walk back , go 400 yds past the second car and repeat till you get home .
Two cars back , one pair of shoes knackered , But very fit . "Bonus "

3 hours ago, tradegirl said:Hi everyone. First of all don't all attack me please.
I got a council parking fine in a spot I genuinely didn't know was limited hours. I've parked there many times before. Lots of people park there and there's only a tiny two by 4 sign showing limited hours (which i discovered after I got booked)
Anyway the car was in the trade. I fully meant to pay but missed the 14 day discount period because it's been hectic here. Then realised I'd lost the parking ticket. Called them up to explain that I wanted to pay but could I pay the discounted amount etc. They said to email in. I left what takes 2 minutes to do, for 100 other things, and it's now 3 weeks since I got it so it's £70.
I've today found the parking fine.
Do I pay, or is there some kind of parking find trade vehicle loophole? I do pay my taxes and VAT, so please don't start "it's shite people like you ruining this country. Do your duty."
Thanks.
Driver gets the fine not the car
Your ticket ,
I'd pay it or you will be on next episode of " cant pay wont pay we'll take it away " arguing with a bailiff at £800 lol

The place though... don't get me started. The taxi driver from the station insisted we lock the car doors "just in case", BCA, well, tired mess it was, staff couldn't be bothered with directions, two people sent me to the payment office to pick up my paperwork, waited 25 minutes in that tiny room and when my turn came they said, oh, this is paid online so you can go round the back where we have a dedicated window. The wait there was 20 seconds.
Then the key office lady (for lack of a better word) took my pass out and sent me to the windiest hall entrance to wait "just for a few minutes" for a driver to bring it. 45 minutes later he turned up, tossed the keys at me from 10 feet with a reassuring "drives well mate, must've cost a few bob" and off I was, past 4pm in the late afternoon M6 traffic.
Even in the busiest Mondays at Blackbushe with the queues all the way to hall 1 I would've collected quicker...
You got the polite staff Nick at walsall , Worst BCA out there regarding staff , Want to see them in real life, doing doughnuts in any thing tasty , drag starts , max rev from cold , you name it I've seen it there .
Even had the yard leader tell one driver to leave the car directly outside the hall exit as I didn't want him flying up the yard flat out after i got the bid .

That Renault is a Skoda Yeti LOL we haven't got a yeti
Then the losers that rang and emailed were just a waste of time , how fast does it go ? can i test this car at max speed . Will you £50 a week , I've only got £3,000 , 4k motor
Do you part ex watches , and the list went on ,on on and Bl##dy on
NO THANKS from us .

As Nick has said , you will struggle to find a mainstream finance company to work with till you have been trading for a good while .
Not a bad idea either as there's good and bad sides to selling finance , not all roses if not done correctly .
I know one guy who's neck deep in trouble with three finance firms , sold cars that have come back to haunt him and he cant buy them back , seized engine , clapped box , ecu faults that shut the car down etc , customer gone back to the finance , finance come to him , he cant pay , trouble in the making , not an easy time for a guess .
good aim though when you it all in place , can be lucrative too , I've done four on finance today , 3 prime , one not so but still got a commission on it , all good deals for us with profit in the metal too ,.

*long story. When the dust settles I'll do a separate post on this one deal.
Giving two day Credit on the slate Nick , "oh dear" , might have you in for retraining I'm thinking
We got two out today and I didn't realise it was 1st of Oct till the invoice popped out the printer .

20 hours ago, AutoJacob said:Good evening guys
I normally attend auctions and buy in person, I buy bread and butter stock up to £3K and there is a few I would like to bid on at BCA Derby tomorrow morning and I am 2 hours away unable to attend.
The vendors are Trade centre no reserve and Bristol Street Motors.
Do you think if I phone BCA in the morning they will be able to set me up with a online account sharpish so I can bid at 9:55 AM?
Any help is appreciated
Cheers
Brave man buying online in that range of prices with those vendors . Unless you have a large parts bin .
Most of them aren't worth the £50 online extra fee never mind the actual bid and fees .

Funny story about trotting bids .
My daughter is on a car at Brighouse a while back , I'm in the hall standing next to 4 guys , look that's a private girl bidding one says my ears open wide cos he said watch this I'll make her pay over £4k for it , take it 4k and let her ave it ,
I'm on phone now to daughter telling her the pratts to my right are going to 4k to make you pay .
She took them to £3,950 , he went 4k and she shook her head
They owned it at £900 over book , Their reaction was world class
What , we've got it one says , thought you was trotting her , what the fu## we gonna do with that
Go and ask her if she wants it and they did
NO she says I was playing you at your game that's all ..
Wont do that again .
Another one at Brig again , I was on a Disco 3 sometime back now booked at 12k and i was up against a car hugger private and his young horsey daughter .
I got the car at under book as my bidding was heaps faster than his , Bang Bang Bang made his head hurt , one hesitation and hammers in my favour
His horsey 13/14 yrs daughter went ballistic , talk about spoilt little ########## that's my daddys car , YOU cant have it , we've waited all day for that car .I WANT it for Sat she going mad . We are going to pull my horse trailer , Dad wasn't interested in my offer of £15k to buy it scowled at me as he dragged his brat away kicking and screaming .
Oh I won the draw that night too £250 of shopping vouchers Bonus
Auctions are so much fun .

Good breakfast but the guy who runs it wow , just try making him laugh
We got some half price vouchers and wrote "Marks sausage Addiction Voucher on it " made him grunt but he didn't break the frown
Rest of the staff make up for him though and the food is good .
Better price than auction

15 hours ago, Nick M.K. said:How are they going to fill up all the forecourts, compounds and pitches then? The finance companies provide very low interest stocking loans and they need the finance business in return. Having thousands of cars and "only" making the 5-10 percent (I've heard of 12!) on finance commission is a valid business strategy. I don't envy the "cash buyers with no part exchange and no need for add ons" looking for a great deal. They probably get laughed out of showrooms...
That happened to a guy I know Nick , Cash buyer with his own detail business so didn't want add on's . Went to buy a BMW and they asked him to leave , told him "we don't do business like that " Shock horror .

I had NOT test driven the camper but because I had specifically asked him about the condition of the gearbox he had breached the sale of goods act 1979 The legal jargon is IMPLIED TERM which results in a misdescription. I had a witness who heard the conversation and had a report from gearbox expert. Even better if you can get the customer to fill out form saying gearbox good electrics good brakes etc. The facts are if you take the right action quickly they cannot stitch you up with a faulty motor and walk away !!! Start fighting back guys !!! Ring your local trading standards get ccj on line and go from there. Send everything recorded delivery and take expert witness if you can. I didn’t but still won !!! It will cost you about £300 !!! If I can do it anyone can !!! What have you got to lose ???Stop the biggest liars and cheats out there The Consumer !!!! Good luck!!!
Nice result Pal , Bet he had a bad day when you WON made my night that has .
Buyers are liars , always have been ," Sumin wrong wi mi car I'll Px it an git rid on it "
