Finance for older cars

Recommended Posts

Evening gents - getting asked if I do finance on cars that are older than what our current supplier is willing to lend on.

for example I have a a3 black edition 2009 with 120k miles on it at £5495 -

my current lender won’t touch it as it’s over 8 years old and over 100k Miles.

any ideas who I can get signed up with?

You could give Evolution Funding a try - they have a panel of 32 lenders. I think they lend up to a vehicle age of 15 years at end of the agreement for HP. Not sure about any mileage limit.

Do you use First Response? Had success with them on older stuff in the past, on near prime rates too.

Second vote for First Response. Really good portal, decent acceptance rates and quick.

We use Close and our account manager called in a few weeks ago to let us know that they will now fund cars up to 15 years old.

+1.

And this is 15 years at the start of the agreement!
