Now you can no longer see the previous keeper details on the V5, I wonder how many cars will be registered to the dealership itself?

Customer has no way of finding out who the previous keeper was, just relying on the dealers honesty.

This is old news.We have done this topic.When you consider the likes of Motorpoint who must have sold thousands of ex daily rental stuff,they could potentially have a huge liabilility with these verdicts.

Ancient news. There was a main dealer (Evan Halshaw??) in Cleveland who were prosecuted a year or two ago.

Anyone heard that road tax discs are to be done away with?

yes of course its an old story but its bang up to date if you could be bothered to look up what jim has to say and be aware of his timely remarks regarding seeing paperwork and using due dilgence

at least D@m understands the long term implications

a v888/2 form and £2.50 allegedly, but who can afford to wait around while dvla  MAY give you the facts? as jim says,  this could increase the demand for cars with comprehensive warranty schemes, and full previous owner detail, do you know the full detail on previous owners or do you just blag it ? the second option is risky :)
