April 2017 Sales

Recommended Posts

March was tough, but we've had a good April, current count of 54 sales with 25% finance pen, against a holding stock of 65.

In regards to diesels, we have seen a change in some consumers, but not enough to worry just yet. I agree with some people above that petrols are less grief, but this will be short lived as forced induction/small displacement becomes the norm. Vw's TSI can be grief, Peugeot/citroen THP engine is grief, Ford eco boost is getting bad press too. petrol is only more reliable because it's simpler, this will soon not be the case, as manufacturers focus is turning to increasing petrol efficiency as they did diesel.

As long as we don't go back to horse and cart we should all still have a job.

Out of three appointments today. First guy and his wife came to view £1500's worth of Punto but have a list of cars still to view even though it was the best one they had seen, Second was coming to view a on behalf of her daughter who even tough they live within a few miles didn't come with him and he didn't come in the PX but still wanted a price on it!!! Final one was a no show!  Seriously beginning to think Im cursed! March and April have been tragic.

Seriously thinking of taking the Stamps offer.

Turned into a decent month, 3 good meaty sales this week.

But it's the "difficult" stuff I've sold. The nailed on "easy" sales have attracted no interest whatsoever.
