  1. Thanks for your input folks, you may be right about it being a waste of money. I just had it in my mind that I wanted one! Umesh, I have had a look at the 360 spin and I think it looks great, I will look into that as an option. Who do you use, if you don't mind me asking please? Thank you. Cheers
  2. Hi, I am moving premises and want to incorporate a motorised turntable, so that I can have a dedicated photo booth. However, I am wanting one as cost effective as possible, not one of these 'all singing all dancing' photo studio that many of the bigger dealers have, just a simple motorised turntable and I will sort out the lighting and the background. Anyone on here use them, and if so, what recommendations do you have? Thanks in advance for your help.
  3. Just stick 'TAX APPLIED FOR' on the screen..... Those were the days!
  4. I am old school. I just record each transaction on an Excel spreadsheet.
  5. Thanks for your replies. Are Worldpay 2 or 3 day payments?
  6. Hi all, I have been with Barclaycard for my card machine, taking debit and credit card payments, for 12 years, and recently received a letter saying all their charges are changing. The reason I have stayed with them for so long is that I bank with Barclays, and their payments hit my bank in 2 working days rather than what I believe to be the normal 3 days. Question is, do any other card providers offer 2 day payment? Cash flow is important so I would rather pay a little bit more to have the comfort of the 1 day quicker payment, but Barclaycard predict I will be paying £35 a month more with their charges. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated. Many thanks. (PS, I have also posted this in the FAQ section in error!)

  8. Its a strange and patchy month for me. 5 on Saturday (particularly good Saturday), 0 Sunday, 0 Monday, 0 Tuesday then 4 today. All over the place! Overall, the month is canny. I like to average 1 a day, and am on 19 for the month so far so I am happy.
  9. Good point. That is how I see it as well. Thanks for your input. Thanks for your post, that is a very good point. I am not sure TBH, I have never needed to use it before but I have emailed my rep to find out. Cheers (But it isn't Vauxhall)
  10. Advice needed please. Been in the trade a lot of years, and feel that I know the Consumer Rights Act 2015 inside out. However..... Bought my wife a new car in September. In December the car cut out as she was pulling onto a fast moving dual carriageway. Managed to pull onto the verge, very shaken up. The RAC came and it had three fault codes; Clutch switch signal consistency, Rail pressure regulation function and Clutch solenoid valve circuit 1. Car taken into to supplying dealer, who had it for 3 days, computer on, cleared the fault codes, road tested it and then returned it. I drove the car as she wouldn't drive it until I was confident it would be ok (early January). In February, the EXCACT same thing happened; accelerating off a slip road onto a dual carriageway and it cuts out. Both times EML comes on with 'Check Injection System'. RAC again come out and this time there are two fault codes; Rail pressure regulation function and 'Unknown' but had exactly the same code as previously (Clutch solenoid valve circuit 1). This time the fuel rail, seals and sensors were replaced. As both situations had potentially catastrophic endings, we decided that we were going to reject the car under the CRA 2015 'one shot rule' as it was in the first six months and as both times the faults were exactly the same, with the same fault codes. However....the manufacturer has rejected my claim as they say that the first time it was in the dealership no repair was undertaken, and there has only one repair carried out which was the one attempt that they are allowed under the CRA 2015. Are they right? As I say, I feel that I know the CRA 2015 inside out (I need to, I sell 350+ used cars a year), and feel that they are fobbing me off. I find that going about these things in a calm and polite manner usually gets the right result in the end, but they are digging their heels in and flatly refuse my rejection. I feel that I am 100% within my rights as it is not our fault that the dealer didn't replace any part on the first visit, which could have prevented the second breakdown. Who is right? If it is me, what is my next course of action/who should I contact etc? Thank you for taking the time to look at this, Cheers.
  11. Did 3 in an hour this morning, puts me on 15 for the month, so I am happy with one a day average.
  12. Started in November 1986 as a fresh faced teenager at a Nissan dealership on commission only. Started up on my own in 2004, and been in the trade 30 years this week!! Absolutely love my job.
  13. Did two yesterday, hoping for a decent month
  14. Well, I ended up with 9 for the week, which really pulled the month around. Two confirmed already this morning from yesterday so onwards and upwards! This time last week I was on a pathetic 14, and now on an acceptable 25. Not brilliant, but considering how it was going, I am delighted!
