  2. Umesh - you could always get CAP data spec as a feature to your website....?
  3. Shamless, blatent and all other types of plugging but I couldn't find any rules section to check.... Spidersnet can get all you stock sent to all these sites; Biz Bee (was Car Pages and Skupe) Carcliq Click-Cars Click Cars Just Good Cars Loot Motoring Motormart Oodle Teletext Cars Trovit Used Car Expert For £50+vat per month! Hell, we'll even broadcast to your third party "paid for" sites too for an extra £40+vat per month! You don't even have to have a website with us.... Sorry CDM if this is not allowed... just trying to help sell some cars for dealers!
  4. Saw this deal in Groupon today, which might be of use to some http://m.groupon.co.uk/deals/national-deal/gg-i-digital-video-course-com/31742476
  5. Best place to start for guides is Youtube itself....
  6. Umesh - can you not bulk upload your images to your website dashboard and your web providers system will automatically make the web ready for sizing? Your camera setting should be setup to as close as poss to match website sizing i.e. 640x480 etc With regards video - learning to shoot a 60sec video surely is quicker than 40 pics. The software in Youtube is good enough to use and make good productions. Most decent smartphones have a good camera on them these days, then just buy a related steady cam cradle and your away! We're predicting video in 2014 is going to see a big shift in use buy dealers looking to provide the next level of customer service.... Imagine getting a personalised video sent to you on the car your looking at. Essentially it would be 3 clips merged together; intro saying hi to the customer. Then the stock video of the car. Last clip again directed to your customer with contact details and AOB..... At that garage, you'll be selling more cars!
  7. Best advice I could give would be to get your web provider to provide a detailed part exchange form for your website. We provide a DVLA lookup first which pretty much ensures the correct customer car is found, then the form has a range of options for tick box graphics, text boxes, and even photo uploader so you can see exactly what the car is and condition. This works great for our guys, as we recommend that the photos are not just to show damage, but also any additional options and extra spec the car might have..... how many cars these days have a list of options as long as a piece of string? Mini? DS3? Adam? Any Merc, BMW, Audi? Makes sense eh.... The form says it's going to give the user a "value" when they click send, but really it pings emails to both parties saying the dealer will be in touch asap (dealer gets all vehicle info etc). So all you need to do is direct any telephone enquiries and emails to this form on your site and you'll weed out any timewasters, whilst also gaining some marketing info for your database! Here's an example of our form, feel free to try it out. http://www.dealersite.co.uk/vehicle-valuation
  8. Keep the content levels and quality high! Google (et al) use this as their main KPI for website grading these days... Fully responsive sites are designed to support all the content on your site.
  9. Hi everybody! Great forum CDM, looking forward to some interesting debates and topics direct from the networks! We had a great time at the Awards last week, and this stat shocked us the most! We are forever hearing from our dealers that they are "quiet" but on hearing this info it seems they're inbox's need to be better monitored! More positively.....Great to see 70% did respond! I can remember once when I was selling new Mazda's, I managed to sell a mystery shopper a new car after the event, from dealing with them so well during the mystery shop!
