  1. Out of curiosity, why have you chosen WP and which theme are you going for? Does it work with feeds? I'd be interested to see what you produce. I'm a big fan of Wordpress.
  2. I think it's important for the manager to get mixing with the staff. On a busy day we have 3 sales staff, me - the marketing manager and our director. We all take it turns to go pick up the lunch, though normally I go because I get grumpy if I don't get my lunch at 12 haha. We don't really have a dining area where we can all eat together but we do get a bit of banter over lunch and throughout the day.
  3. We recently got a G-Forces website launched and so far I am very happy with how everything has been. I previously asked for feedback on our site and some of you were kind enough to help me out, thank you! Our site is now more responsive on mobile than it previously was (work in progress) I just wondered how other dealers were finding changing content etc so it's more suited for mobile. Are you keeping your content shorter? It obviously has to remain informative but my fear is that when people are browsing on their phones they want quick information and not to be searching all over the website. It has to be natural too.. What are your thoughts on designing for mobile? and what obstacles have you come across?
  4. Umesh, I suspect that the John Lewis brand possibly see the hashtag as a bit 'tacky' for them.
  5. I think it looks nice when the sales staff look smart. Company branded work wear. We are currently looking into getting some new uniforms for our staff. Have a meeting with Bristol Oilskin & Overall Co Ltd on Wednesday.
  6. Wondering if the grey text is readable for everyone? I think it compliments the design but I am wary that the grey text on a white background might not be accessible or everyone. Any thoughts?
  7. Yes. The idea is that you can save upto 3 cars and compare them. Thanks for your feedback!
  8. Our director Tim was on Radio BBC Scotland on Tuesday defending the genuine used car dealer, for those who missed the show, you can take a listen here - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03g0g3l
  9. Thanks for the indepth feedback, I am going to speak to G Forces regarding the website being responsive, I had thought this would have come as standard now, but will double check. This is something I have planned very soon, thanks for the feedback!
  10. Hello all, I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this or not, but I was looking to get some feedback on our new website? We went live on Friday but we are launching a promotion this afternoon to officially announce the new site. www.autoecosse.com Any constructive feedback is appreciated. Thank you
  11. Gimmick style videos make me cringe, and I would try my best to steer clear of these. A company I have found on YouTube who have a good example of video work are Wessex Garage https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDSnI8Ph6Ih7qy8JKrUptIg
  12. How important is the professional element to the video? How much does your business spend on hiring a videographer to shoot and edit your videos? Or do you think it's acceptable to just shoot a quick video off your smart phone and upload?
  13. That's a fairly negative view. Have you tried using social media as part of a marketing strategy? Social Media isn't about sales, it's about interacting with the public (and potential new customers)
  14. I have considered creating a pinterest and google+ for our business, how do you feel these work? How often do you interact on these and how do you monitor response?
  15. Bought as in bought from Facebook? I'm fairly certain I've seen people advertise on fiver.com that they can increase the activity on pages. But these are more along the lines of programs/bots. I think it's pretty fair to say that any social media can be hacked this way, unfortunately.
