Must be a new package/ product. Mine is since 2009! Only one price increase since :-)))

At £17 a month it is MUCH cheaper to my usual HPI sub (£89). I will trial it while it's free and if it does nearly as good job as HPI I will take it. Tony, what eBay Motors package do you have? I've had mine for a long time and can't see a Car Check in the features? Is this something new? Mine is £175 p/m. Aftermarket alloys that are slightly too large for the hub? There are spacing rings available if that is the case.

That’s not tone Simon. That’s drivel. There is a good reason boys have pals and others don’t. So long ECJ.
-
It’s BCA Simon but the answers will be not that many and no.

Being a one-man-band owner-operator I can't answer that. You should find and ask big fish. I am sure that they'd be delighted to speak with you.
-
As in use the invoice number for reference in the online banking? I told you, you'll learn. Give it time. I am often wrong, I know. But if you speak to anyone that actually did business with me they'll never say that.
-
Direct debits? Never. Paying by phone? Also never. I pay everything using online banking when I want to pay it. Usually late but if you ever sell me a trade car I will pay it on the spot.

One day years from now when you've had your own business for a while, when the council is long forgotten (if at all possible) you will find out that THE MOST sensible thing to do is to pay CORPORATIONS as late as possible if this doesn't have financial penalties for you. You bid in person at BCA yesterday. Any particular reason you still have an outstanding balance for that Golf today?

I think every trader starting up will price with 95 on the end, that's the first thing to be picked up after looking at ads :-) And the use of some cliches in the advert text: FTSWB MINT!!! LOOK LOOK LOOK 2 KEYS!!!! Drives like a dream Every option including central locking and rear fog light Maintained regardless of cost AWESOME Full dealer facilities (now this will annoy me) Any inspection welcome Full service including the oil Etc etc...

Nothing rude with that email, they confirm every purchase, especially for new accounts. Maybe your phone was deleted from the system, maybe there was no reception or something like this. Emails like this are becoming the norm in the industry and credit control departments are becoming more aggressive. Just received this from HPI (my latest invoice is actually paid early, they are chasing the second to last): "Good afternoon Nick I have been informed by our accounts team that there is an outstanding amount of £135.00 on the account. To avoid loss of service I would be grateful if you could make contact with our accounts team on 01722 412 888 choosing Option 3, 1 and 1."

There isn't one but if you absolutely have to use an app instead of experience I'd say CAP as this is what the auctions use to set disposal prices.

Project Lupo 1.7 SDI Cat C... I know, I know..... :)

What a sensible purchase, let's hope they don't charge him another £541 for a "cambelt" at 250K miles. -
Even if it isn't you can use that same ref (minus FIRST digit) to put it in trade first.

He needs to put in between £90 and £130 and sell it for £1200 with free advertising. That's not an investment, that's pocket change but the £1200 can come useful one day, who knows. Alternatively scrap it and let the scrap yard guy make £2-2.5K out of it. -

You buy the car in p/x, it’s yours to do whatever you want with it! If you want you can scrap it, if you want you can donate it, if you want you can sell it for over a grand! I used to worry about customers seeing their part exes advertised at a (much) higher price but they don’t see the many hours of work and the hundreds of £ spent to do stuff they should’ve done but skimped! Take as much money out of that car as you can with not a lot of work. -

Spares or repairs you mean? If they trailer it away, sure. Because there isn't much else you can make them sign to give you any peace of mind these days... P.S. Mark, I read one of your reviews about a lamp post warranty. I loved it, loved that you told them that, I'd never heard that expression before but it makes sense I guess. -

Sometimes a CAT C VW can and will bring more money that the BMW X5 mentioned above. If we weren't greedy we'd all be doing something else Tony. If Arfur just wanted rid he'd just scrap it and still return his investment 30 fold. If you are going to sell (well retail really) a car you might as well try and get some money for it, otherwise you are just entering in a transaction that can come back and bite you and you are doing it for no money at all. -
+1. Spent nearly £90 for it and now only use the video software that came with it :-)

And with the extra provenance, panache and history of the cat C I'll add another £600 to it for good measure. Give it a try £1290, let's see what happens. -
Or Poland or Romania the same week with 60000

I'm thinking a bargain AT ad at £1290 with cat C fully disclosed purely to break all records about return on investment. Is it 43000% return if you bought for £3 and sold for £1290? -
Sold for 12800, just under Cap Clean. Another C300H, a year older and higher miles (almost 90000) sold for £14800 but it was nicely modified, will try to post some pics later.

It’s very clean actually, going through shortly but I spotted a couple of more interesting examples.
