That’s it. I’ve decided. I’m getting a shot gun, a gun dog and a tweed jacket. Pull!
-
I’m pretty sure it will sell off the front anyway, plus it is actually a nice car to drive so may I fact in keep it. I’ll throw the dog in the back and put on a brown cardigan with some driving gloves..... I’ll feel right at home lol
-
It owes me £7k so I’ve just dropped it for £6995... I want it gone so if it doesnt sell for that then looks like I’m stuck with it haha.

Lovely website by the way. really well laid out....

Literally for life of me cannot sell this car. Average market price on auto trader is saying £9000 ish. Ive now priced it a grand below for over a 6 weeks and I cant even get a phone call on it. Its such a lovely car. 7/8 Volvo stamps and 1 owner with Nav. I bought this thinking it was an absolute banker haha. Never a again. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201906038621684?utm_source=triggered_emails%26utm_medium=Email%26utm_campaign=email_a_friend Found a spelling mistake in the first line... must be where I am going wrong

How’s it all going gents? 15 so far this month with 38 in stock, with some lumpy finance deals. Had a lot of finance declines however, the quality of finance customers are getting worst by the month but so far very happy with how it’s gone.

Also worth mentioning you can use the v5c2 green slip to tax the vehicle as many times as you want on that same slip
-
My trade insurance enables me to use for work use and personal
-
I’ve done this on loads of cars. I don’t understand why it would be a problem. Its taxed, it’s insured, it has mot. And most of the time it has oil in the engine

We did 4 on the Saturday and 3 hand overs, pretty busy....
-
We have been busier and busier in the last 3 months with car gurus. We are definitely seeing more referrals from car gurus month on month, still not on auto trader level but still....

Audi VW TFSI 1.8 - 2.0 petrol 2008-2012 do not buy
Grantlfc81 replied to Grantlfc81's topic in General Dealer Chat
Well I’m on my 5th oil drinker now. It’s a shame as it actually drives perfect, and I love the drive of the Tfsi engine. Responsive, Smooth and very nippy. I have bought and sold well over 40-50 of them so gotta take the rough with the smooth and generally made good profit on all of them. I was just alerting you guys that’s all -

Yes fully aware of the research but it’s taken me a while to really see the full problem the Tfsi has. I haven’t had any problems with smaller engines or bigger engines. im going to look at all the cars affected I’ve had and see if they all fall into these engine code categories ————————— What engines are affected? The 2.0 and 1.8 TFSI engines prior to 2012. Engine codes known to be affected include CAEB, CDNC and CNDC (list being updated). The problem seems to have been corrected when the facelift was released. But all A5 TFSI engines before that, i.e. 2008 – 2012, are susceptible. -
As some of you know I buy ALOT of German cars, it’s taken a while to perfect the buying but we are pretty much there with only the odd surprise here and there as expected with the motor trade. One thing that is consistent is the guarantee that 1 in 3 from auction, 1.8 - 2.0 Tfsi petrol cars between 2008 - 2012 ish will burn more oil than it with petrol! I am now on my 5th Tfsi with a horrendous oil burn problem, using a litre of oil from anywhere from 100 miles to 650 ish miles. No sign of smoke, no sign of oil leakage.... it just vanishes very quickly do you will be none the wiser until the customer calls in months time. So beware guys.... it’s not pretty when it happens and I recommend everyone stay away from them. Im just trying to figure if there is a specific engine code that is actually to blame that I can maybe research before I buy from auction. They sell like hot cakes and is a shame this is happening.

What repairs/servicing won't you tackle?
Grantlfc81 replied to Mikey360's topic in General Dealer Chat
I pay about £230 - £260 including parts for my Audi belt changes. -
We are up to 15 now and a finance proposal online at 1:37 am this morning - I always wake up in the morning to 2-3 leads.... lol although this one does not sound like it’s going to be prime haha
-
Good luck mate, just remember some codes come on because of some other issues with the car. It’s sometimes misleading!
-
If your newest is 60 plate the Delphi knock off on eBay will probably do most of the stuff you need and is brilliant for £70
-
hi mate, what sort of age cars do you go up to? I use a cheap Delphi knock off that I got from ebay that does loads of stuff to be fair
-
Tap turned back on, 11 now for the month, but no appointments or any sign of anything else just yet.
