If you want the phone phone to melt have your Ebay account hacked and loads of cheap cars advertised on your account, that does the job, trust me

Currently building up stock to take full advantage, I am on 12 +2 package so looking to get up to 24 prime units.

2 today so already equaled last November with a week to go and a viewing due in 20 minutes.

23 hours ago, David Ayers said:What are your projected costs for wages and advertising?
These will be your biggest expenses if you are not planning on doing much prep.
To sell that many cars a month how many staff do you think you will need? I’d guess minimum of 6. 3 salesman, 2 dogsbodies to do logistics/cleaning etc and 1 for admin. Assuming you and you partner handle the buying. £10k a month for wages.
60 cars on that website beginning with A. Probably £4K a month
These are just some of the costs. Obviously there is Vat, insurance.
The other issue is you are going to miss out on finance commissions with that stock profile.
Oh by the way. That “ Sale of goods act 2015” you mentioned. You might want to look at that again. I think you need to read it a bit more thoroughly.
Plus a full time grief manager.

Takes 5 mins too . Cuvva is good for the younger ones as its App .
Saw this mention this afternoon and later passed the details on to a customer after he viewed my Audi A3, he used it and drove away on the spot, thanks Dave.

Another best test is 1 hour drive home from auction, often think this is better than having it delivered for the reason of checking things out.

Why not build up a database of potential buyers of stuff you get then contact them with stock when you get it, put me on the list first please.

I don't exaggerate my figures Nick but then again I never blab.

I'm with Nick on this, I find them boring and tedious to watch I would sooner flick through some GOOD photos at my own pace, but that's just me.

Hi everyone, my contract is coming up for renewal with Ebay and I am wondering if that budget would be better spent with CG (instead of the free CG ads), I stock up to 20 cars priced between 3-10k retail, my main advertising is with AT and that does well for me, Never been sure with Ebay but been with them for a few years, my stock is well prepped and I ask and get good money, I never aim to be cheap but prep well and give great service, any thoughts appreciated.

We took £1,200 profit out of a cheap £500 px
Part ex's are great for this, just took 1k out of a 1500 sale price part ex.

This chancer would get no more than a minute of my time, you might as well be dealing with me about the VW Polio as him because we both have the same involvement in this deal.
Not quite to be fair dad is trying to look after is daughter, can't blame him for that.

Take Nicks good advice and put it to bed.

This got me thinking about sending a small deposit to the seller to secure the car until I can get to them, Obviously it would be after I've had a good chat with them on the phone first and satisfied myself that they are all they are saying.
Does anyone else do this? What's the best way to do it and is there a way that I can call the money back if the cars not for me or the seller doesn't stack up and gets a bit awkward?
Many thanks

Results that matter, nice one Nick, hope the other guy calls back to get the Sold news.

Every day is a day at school, this is very true but especially for the car sales trade.
-
Are you quiet Nick :-)
-
You can't blame customers for wanting to by by CC if they have an interest free period offer.
-
Nick, yes I got that, just me being pedantic. :-)

If the margin is the same on those 2 cars then the profit would be 2250 on that 4500 car, just saying.
BMW Noise help appreciated

Hi everyone, I have a 2011 BMW 318 2lt petrol with 41k and have a weird noise, when traveling there is a slight constant almost background noise, we have checked all brakes and wheel bearings even had the prop off to check the centre bearing and all seems good, its like a slight wheel bearing noise not a humming noise just a motion noise dose not get very loud when traveling just stays about the same also dose not change when you swing left and right like a wheel bearing fault may do but when you slow down to a stop it slows down with you, any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
