The firm is an absolute Pisstake with their pricing. was paying £1300 a month for their services. we are now doing eBay motors pro and car gurus amd marketplace and the enquiries are flowing in compared to auto trader. £650 compared to £1300 and the other 2 are giving us triple the leads. Auto trader really need to bring their prices down as they are a joke good riddance! Will do 3 month trial without them and see how we are.

I think regardless of the cost its an insult to a pro dealers intelligence, much rather they do something more constructive like for £75 they could give a car a cold start check and a proper test drive engine/box by a proper mechanic rather than a crap stationary report by a car parking chap, that would be worth £75 and the uptake worth employing someone to do the job. but in reality they don't want to upset the vendors by telling them their entry is fooked, both parties already know anyway!.... easier to fook us over, even easier now with the bun fight for stock since the auction credit launch. and if anyone wants to uptake the bca light check for £7.50 - i can send my lad round to yours who will do it for a fiver a car as long as you have 25+ units...

Nope Royal Mail still have their own service centres, well they do around the midlands anyway. I know of four around here. I used to do a lot of contract work for Royal Mail fleet and I wouldn’t touch any of their vans to be honest apart from the overnight long distance Sprinters. Anything that was used as a local delivery van will have stupidly low miles but drive like it’s been to the moon and back over a ploughed up field.

You must get the recalls done, they are extremely dangerous. I’ve had multiple cut out while driving. And 2 of my customers.

This subject is a prime example of why this forum is so useful. Whilst I would occasionally remember to check-I was not aware of this being a necessity, and have now added it to my list of jobs. Everyday is a school day!

I use excel, and have been looking around at the API's on offer just this week, (there must be about 20 to choose from)..for me Vitaltax looks to be about the simplest as you download the software once to your PC and don't need to send your data via the cloud to a 3rd party as with many of the others, its also cheap... like you wondered if anyone else has done it yet?
