Seems to be a lot of different advise out there regarding this subject, I am the opposite to Nick I put everything on, the second its sold / collected we remove it and the customer has already signed all the paperwork showing what time they collected the car so even if it takes an hour for it to show live as being removed and an accident happens in the mean time I can easily prove it isn't down to me. This advise is from our broker who services lots of garages in the area so as nicks guy bit of an expert in his field.

Hi apologies I've been very very busy and not on here much. Yes, what Nick says, I suspect Shifter but would want to confirm due to price, and if your Car is one of the MB's with no Steering Lock, then it will be a theft relevant (Immo) part and will need the right guy with SDS to program it, and you can't use a used one unless you virginise it first HTH, Cheers Dave What is 316740 ? Certainly isn't my phone number could be millimeters on a good day Head is in my SLK Electronics, am halfway through installing a Paddle Shift Steering Wheel with Buttons to control the Android, and it really isn't as easy as bolt on plug and play, have had to do a lot of reasearch and development plus find part numbers for a Clock Spring Steering Angle Sensor with more cores, correct wiring plugs, micro soldering the tiny switch circuit boards etc. The prototype system is working now, so another set of switches is on it's way to build the final finished product and fit it all on the Car All this in between a bunch of Customers Vehicles and a couple of Sales Preps, some of which had real "Bear" Faults, so I guess in 2 word summation .............. Fuckin' Busy

I don't have kids but sell to a lot of youngsters in our area and I always ask blackbox yes or no. Get one fitted would be my advice. It's not a big monetary issue, usually a 10% - 15% annual saving but it really does seem to make them more cautious, aware, safer. The apps that link with the boxes are really well designed and good at enforcing them and most of the youngsters really pay attention to their app at the end of a drive and take tips, are aware of excessive speed/braking etc.

Tells you on the letter how to display trade plates correctly. In the windows isn't the correct way. Trying to display them correctly has had plenty of threads about it.

Well fuck me backwards with a broomstick, it isn't the sensor, it's now down to the (already replaced) wheel bearing, cos I fished the old bearing out from the bin and stuck the new sensor in it, spun it by hand and voila !! Wheel Speed registering in Data, stick new sensor in the bearing on the Car and no speed signal, bearing sizes, trigger etc all looks identical, so it's either a duff bearing or there is 2 different ones ................ According to Factors there is only one listed, they are sending me another on first Van, so I will do the hold it in hand and spin it test before fitting it Give me a fuckin' Mercedes any day over this VAG shit, that's all it is pure 100% shit !!
