I think Lucas should start a thread and ask for help etc just on that one thread (and not add another for a while? Rather than posting a new one every uptime. In the Private Lounge anyway. I will enjoy helping him if I can and, will be a fun read. Obviously the heading is ‘Mates!’ :o)

I agree. The real cause is greed. They have almost twice the amount of cars on site that their planning allows! I have watched in amazement on many ocassions 1 or 2 drivers spen 30+ mins unload and move about 20 cars to get a car out for a trader. Then put all cars back. Move on to the next customer and they are moving the same block of cars again! Their new system means your name is added to a list of traders/drivers waiting to collect car.If they had the sense to also write the location down on the list they could sometimes get 2 or 3 customers sorted at the same time. I tried suggesting this once but was met with zombie like stares. I dont think the management have ever heard of time and motion.

18 days - nothing to worry about. My average days to turn is 44 but that means nothing as some sell in 1 day and some in 180 days - just got to make your ads the best they can be with cars to match and it will come.

Ebay / Gumtree - Combined package - OK. Not as many sales as AT but it's a fraction of the price so can't complain. More timewasters/weak leads than other platforms AT - Great for units sold but it should be with the price it commands. Facebook - Good. Few deals done from Facebook page / Facebook marketplace. We typically spend £40 p/month on page / post advertisement so very good return on investment.

I'd suggest the car had been abused. What kind of miles has it done since you sold it? Selling .4's and 10 bags can rack up the mileage and involves a lot of stop start I'd imagine... saying that 2.0 TDI 170 BHP engines are shite. They just want the money now he's locked up.
