    Yes Twerp £1600 on a 320d Exclusive..... I'm doing really well with BMW's at the moment Its actually 61k with a new belt. AT put it at £4500.

    I was reading the forum with my 5 year old son who afterwards said to me "Daddy can't mummy eat a Man-size pasty?" I said of course not Pasties are strictly for real men only ! And also, due to your mum putting on a bit of timber lately she needs to stay well clear of pork related pastries and stick to salad, otherwise I'm off. We laughed

    He didn't get a month trouble free, he just didn't feel it slowly blocking DPF until it got to critical level, at which point it went downhill very quickly, according to OP. Exactly how quickly Fault Lights come back on depends entirely on the ECU programming strategy, some Cars can take a few hundred miles before Light will come back on, some cars straight away................... Yes, if you re read it after a day or 2 you may see the fault as a "pending", but most ECU's need to see this kind of fault a few times before the lights come back on. This is why so many Cars bought at auction do not surface faults until they've done a few hundred miles, because Vendor turned the lights out !! Yes it is speculation on my part, not having had it in my Workshop, but this stuff is what I do day in / day out. On most DPF equipped Cars any pending or actual code which affects air flow through the engine will halt auto regen until the fault is repaired. Sadly most manufacturers will not release there ECU Strategies, and bearing in mind that VAG Emissions Scandal I expect they have all been deleted / burned

    Just downloaded. Very interesting quite a bit of common sense but some really good insight. The auction section was particularly helpful. Would recommend anyone new to read before they post questions in the forum.

    Well our best ever month so far In October with 3 today and pushing 15 cars sold with stock of only 12. Starting to get into a groove now with some nice car buying at the auctions sticking to higher grade stuff and taking less risks. Putting some cash away for possibly the quiet winter months now to get me through as it’s my first ever winter and I don’t know what to expect. hows everyone else done?

    NO. We get them out in a £10K+ car with £500-£1000 deposit in under 40 minutes and in under 4.5% interest. Rates are still very low, the lenders are still lending and at this moment there is nothing wrong with people's finances. They want cars, they are buying, looking, travelling to buy, as long as you reply to their enquiry. We must've typed our replies at the same time. I am indeed having a great month and nearly broke every record with 3 viewings yesterday on 3 cars BUT the only record I actually broke was my high blood pressure. And blood temperature. And redness in skin colour. One didn't buy because of a panel gap too wide (his pound coin shouldn't have fit in that gap, I had a photo in my ad showing it was absolutely fine), the other has been here before and went away to think some more and the third loved the car, loved everything and just felt the need to see another "few" examples to be sure. "Can I do anything to make you forget the other examples? Yes, you can knock off £800 from your price. Erm, the M25 is 3 miles that way"...
