19 sold in jan, Busiest month to date.  6 already sold this month. Customers going crazy for s lines and m sports in Essex it seems..... how did everyone else do in jan? Any fireworks?

Decent but wouldn’t say it will break any records.

I think sales must be quiet in general up this way as this is the first January in years where auction prices have stayed resoanble all month. I’ve not had any problems buying and all with good margins.

Pretty good January, but slowed right down in the last week or so of the month

Quiet so far for Feb too, with only one on the board, and not many enquires as yet

Lots of stock, so not too worried, although Feb is often mediocre for us.

Our small pitch did OK,we have 17 to 20 and we retailed 16.Sounds good, but we chopped one or two to money back,we had some good margins on a few but then we also had a few ‘self destruct’ as usual ,clutches, turbos and stuff. It is a cheap pitch with only one wage bill but it still adds up to £1200 per week with everything accounted for and standing still.Whatever you think you have netted in a month,I always half it because the profit just evaporates in this job.

We aren’t buying enough Noacross. We are not fully optimised,Click Dealer have tried, but despite being good at everything else they do,their SEO stuff for buying appears not to be their speciality. We have had various quotes from specialist SEO companies starting at £500 per month upto several grand and they do not guarantee success.!   So most of the stuff we buy at the door is from passing trade,we are on a very visible site.

It takes a good while to build the online presence and for it to percolate.

Did you try that paper ad? Ours is weird: one week we’ll be offered one or two, the next four or so and then nothing for a month.

At least you’re buying some on the doorstep.

Good luck mate(s). I still think a quarter is too small, but at least you can test the water.

Depends how big the paper is too I guess.

Decent Jan for us despite me moaning every day. People have been especially hard work of late.

One today on a mint 53 plate Rav, 17 stamps and two cambelt replacements...well it should have had three cambelts by now so i'll want a substantial discount! I wish that was an exception but they're all the same lately.

Short on stock and literally nothing about worth buying so might be a tepid start to Feb.

What a complete fool! Going to miss out on a really good car because they can't see further than the end of their nose.....

Deserves to go to a more appreciative punter!
