Anyone dealt with Zuto finance?

Recommended Posts

Customer arranged own finance through Zuto, they say all I have to do is deliver, get electronic signature,

and money goes into my  business bank account.I'm not FCA registered.

Could it be this straightforward ?

It can be.

Customer signs online with Zuto. You just send an invoice.

Obviously don’t release the car until funds are in.

I’d be surprised, zuto didn’t want to know me when I wasn’t Fca registered

I have done a Zuto - sent invoice, paid within 24 hours, customer collects.

Dealt with them a few times, Some times straightforward other times pain in arse,  you say deliver it then get electronic signature,, I wouldn’t be too excited about delivering it, It certainly wouldn’t leave my premises until funds in bank and by delivering do you mean punter hasn’t been to view car?? That’s another bag of worms.

No customer not seen car since 100 miles away, and elderly.

Since saying not fca, gone quiet!

Done loads with zuto and 247 over the last couple of years. Send an invoice, they pay and customer comes to collect. Very rare the customer bothers looking at the car beforehand. We have never had an issue.

They have always asked for FCA number on invoice on deals i have done with them, being elderly doesnt stop them getting chucky as long as they can show income and some of these ex govt employees on final salary pensions earn bloody fortunes,,, but if it goes through get them to come to you to collect car.

yes it can be. I'm not FCA registered and it hasnt been a problem with them, I guess it depends on which lender they are using. I've never delivered though, I would make sure that he customer visits you to collect. And they will deal with the electronic signature directly with the customer. All you should have to do is provide an invoice and wait for the money to appear. You may have to do a little bit of additional stuff if its your first deal, but that will just be providing bank details etc

Customer changed her mind I'm afraid, but it all looked as if it was going through without an FCA

registration.Pretty good really!

we've done loads with Zuto, no real issues to speak of.

I believe they can work with non FCA dealers as they self invoice rather than going dealer direct.

I think Zuto uses AT's FCA as AT effectively introduces the client.  I don't have FCA yet (awaiting VAT Number, despite being registered).

I’ve possibly chucked a red herring out in here. It was because I wasn’t VAT registered they didn’t want to know me. That was then, obviously.
