Cat D

Recommended Posts

I have a guy interested in part exchanging a cat d kia pro c'eed. He is interested in a car that I have had stuck in stock for a while. I hit him in the balls with a part ex price which he has accepted. However ive not been involved with write offs of this value before. Am I asking for trouble?

I think you'll be okay with a CAT D. I avoid them but I know alot of traders that do well off later write-offs. I think they appeal to those who want to save so, considering you got it cheap, priced right it should fly out.

What year is the C'eed, only issue I could see if if that invalidates the Kia warranty or not (presuming car is younger than 7 years).

It’s 2014. Apparently the Kia warranty doesn’t cover wrote offs!

That seriously affects value then as that’s their main selling point imo
