Price Idea? Audi A1 Cat S

Recommended Posts

Hiya everyone.

Just throwing this out there as I rarely deal with Written off stuff, however I've been offered this in PX and have no idea really where it should sit or if anyone wants to underwrite it?

2013/13

Audi A1 1.6 Sport Tdi Manual

Misano Red

Black Roof and nice 17" bi tone alloys

Comfort Pack / Connectivity Pack / Auto Dim mirrors

Nice tidy car bar 1 scuff on the front edge of the bottom N/S Front bumper

I have photo's but i'm buggered if I can upload them on this forum.

Any advice / takers /  underwrites appreciated.

offer them Half Cap Clean to retail at 2/3rds the going rate.

I dont use cap - It Autotrader retails at £9500

I was thinking £5- £5.5k and retail it at £6995?

more importantly who repaired it what was the damage and has half the dashboard been repaired properly or does it have resisters behind the pad

these german cars dashboards go to lithuania/poland for reconditioning i would strongly suggest as its cat s ie structural damage you keep away because this categorisation is less than a year old so it was a high value write off

Your namesake -Mr C of The Shamen would have said ‘Eberneeezerbad’ in this case.

Entertain a CAT D or new CAT N occasionally -at half book, as has been mentioned above, but a late, German, CAT S is one to side-step in my opinion.

However, I’d side-step the junk even it if it wasn’t on the register!

Half book, and find an auction to put it through. I never retail anything thats on the hit list, you just dont know whats happened to it.

Low ball  them and see how you get on. I would auction it personally.
