Toyota Auris D4D cranking not starting

Today's fun project is a 2007 2.0 d4d that has decided to fail to start this morning. Cranking but not firing. Full service history, motorway miles 120k battery changed this year. I thought I'd throw it open for comment before I "make the phone call".

First thing you need to be doing is plugging your scanner in for codes and take it from there.

Takes ages & ages of cranking to start?

Starts easy once it’s got a little warmth in the engine?

I had this before, possibly the SCV, see attached or search the internet;

No, been starting ok hot or cold, then this morning fail to start? I've also heard, EGR, starter motors. I've also just knocked the sensor thing off the screen so I've got the 'ump with it now anyway

Yeah fuel in it. BHM mentioned the SCV and there's a few other bits. I'll have a play with it tomorrow
