  1. Sent my cheque Nov, rang them early Jan to be told there is a backlog, they didnt see the funny side when i said is that the same backlog you have had every January for years,,,,, received acknowledgment this week. Can you imagine if we tried to treat punters the way govt bodies treat us....

We have not even though about this. He just simply invited me to work with him for two weeks, and he suggested I could bring my cars and try to sell them on the pitch. No need to think too much. I first met him on Saturday afternoon, and we reached this appointment in just 15 minutes.

Take it easy. Like Bob Dylan song said: Don't think twice, it's all right! :)

I am heading to the pitch now.

Thanks mate. Too many if. A life full of uncertain. Don't think twice, it's all right!

This is the motor trade Lucas you do need to think twice and prepare for the unexpected or you will get your fingers burnt.

Agreed, the public and business users haven't embraced electric....... Too ugly, too dear, too unknown.......

    Leaf = Betamax.

I personally went for video 2000 with a big  fcuk off front loader..... wonder how many newbies to the telly selly  game ploughed there life savings into stocking them?

  4. Brave man, I wouldn’t know of a trader who I could offer a 3 yr old leaf to, I stock 60 cars from Hyundai i10 to Bentley Continental and I would stain my pants at thought of having a leaf in stock.... but maybe I am an old dinosaur so I wish you well..... but I wouldn’t set off on my jollies in one....

I was using the foreign driver license before. That allowed me to drive and rent both auto and manual. But, now I have to use the UK license as a trader. That's why I just realized I need to do manual test. Thanks.

as a trader when you took your uk test why take an auto one??

Never use HANDLER PROTECT vehicle warranty. Their warranty agreement is designed to never pay you the repair expenses. For any fault, they'll find a reason to decline your clime. I climbed 4 times the repair expenses and they all 4 times refused to pay. This is the worst car warranty service.

I just sell bread and butter stuff. Sub £10,000. I would say we are getting more finance. Of the cash ones several are borrowing from the bank of Mun and Dad.

October. Sold 18 of which 11 cash, 5 Prime finance, 2 Zuto

    November. Sold 5 of which 3 cash, 1 prime Finance.1 CF247

Out of interest who pays what to CF247??? I am currently £125 a car (up from original £100)

  8. our finance take up has dropped off a cliff, except for dodge pots via cf247, I think it is because there is so much cheap money about for proper people, after saying that I am going on a do tonight with close finance reps so no doubt I will get grief as to why no real business done for a while.....

Stuck it on last night, You have got to love eBay......

What a brilliant car and looks like it should cost more !!
Let me make an offer that is indeed more than your asking price, but there is a But....and am relying on the old adage that if you don't ask...you don't get !
I have an Original wildlife oil painting by collected artist Tony Forrest. It has been valued at £8,000 by Whitewall Galleries (large chain of over 40 galleries and is they who exhibit originals by Forrest). I will happily offer this if the car is as nice as she appears.
I have certificated proof of value, ownership and authenticity.
Keep it and use as an investment - you will make good money, (I bought it for £450 and look at it now !). Sell it on and you'll still be way over your top price - you will be in a win/win.
I actually live in France where Forrest has no market - his market is UK or USA so not easy for me to sell quickly.
Your car is what we all hope to find, but rarely do, so am happy to take the hit on the price differential,
Can send j-pegs if you want,
    John

see i said you should have sold it to me, quick profit and no painting to sell. ;-)))))))

After reading the OP I'm seeing a lot of the shit I had when I first joined, this is a public forum put in place to help traders who need advice, why are you so fucked off about giving advice @EPV? You did it with me, you give the advice and then moan about giving it. So what if the guys never going to come BACK? No ones asking you for your opinion direct are they? You are volunteering to give it!!! Don't you feel good that the experience you've gained in short space can help someone possibly less experienced than you out?

Benji I have to agree with EPV a little on this, a few "newbie" posts on here are obviously privates milking us for info and giving nothing back, but at least you milked us and gave a lot back, you took a lot of shit and ribbing and took it like a man and made a lot of us laugh, hopefully you learnt a little and  long may the banter continue.

I disagree, by clearing out the fault, (EGR), his "mate" has allowed him to drive it longer with light off and not in limp, thus blocking the DPF to chokka level ;)

However, yes, much easier to just get the bloody Car back to base and fix it, rather than all the hassle, and also other garages chiming in and wanting 15 hours etc etc etc ;)

EGR was obviously the original, and still present fault, the fact that DPF is now blocked is because dick head has been driving it around with an EGR faulty, so the Car will not auto regen ;)

I doubt if egr was original fault he would have gotten another month trouble free driving am sure light would have come back on in first few days

  12. Do not let them take it to another garage/relative/matedownpub/ always get car back and sort it yourself where possible, no need to write war and peace or quote any acts just ask them to return it to you,,if the car has a problem when you inspect it fix it,  his mate clearing eml isnt going to have anything to do with current problem, he did you a favour by doing it.

LOL you're right there, but it's still crap ;)

It's a bit like VW Diesels, they've sold milligones, but they're still shite :)

And like the good book they have both been economical with the truth... more chance of feeding hundreds of people with loaf and 3 fishes than achieving VW fuel figures...

No offence to those of us who attend on a Sunday, but That Holy Bible was a load of crap too, perhaps a "long time ago" all his Bunters dried up 'cos they didn't like paying for test drives :lol::lol:

How can you say the Holy Bible was crap, I wish I had thought of it, it must be the best selling book of fiction ever, bet it’s earned that Jesus guy a fortune....
