  1. most modern stuff doesn't have a spare wheel but a compressor and a tin of goo, 9/10 the goo is as much use as a haircut was on telly savalas, often the tyre is a mess before you realise its flat

I reckon 80% are now too lazy and too busy busy to want to swap their own tyres out anyway

ping pinga new massage has just arrived for them as they pose with flat tyre

  2. I would email a copy of the invoice over and tell them to dissist from harrasing you

for future make sure invoice states day time and a signed for signature confirming handover time to the minute

    why

because 15 years ago a customer took a car and got a speeding ticket 19 miles up the road, try sorting that one

finally always always electronically advise dvla of change of ownership and print everything off and attach to invoice pdi checklist etc and file it for 7 years

My experience. Our company had an expensive trade policy with Aviva going back to the distant past when it had been called several other names. It always specifically stated my name and that I was covered for social and domestic and we never made a claim. When I retired they said I had to start again and donkey’s years no claims meant nothing. As we had paid out a fortune in premiums over the years plus we have several other policies with Aviva ,an argument ensued and I took it to the Ombudsman…..who agreed with Aviva.

but if you had made a claim they would have still held it against you for a non commercial insurance policy we can no doubt be assured

i have had a saying in life that Michael Caine taught me many years ago and it still holds true

"if they haven't got you one way they've got you another way"

I've just been kicked out again, this is proper Internet not some dodgy 5 g even

  5. prices at factors are getting crazy, oil is nearly double what it was 2 years ago, trouble is customers don't appreciate this fact round here even though I try to edumacate them, good thing is they also don't appreciate cars have gone up too till I offer them more than they paid 2 years ago for their car

  6. Peugeot recommend no oil additives for their oily belt engine, thing is once it goes out of dealer servicing it goes to a garage that the first thing they do is ram an engine conditioner (their words) in it as un up sell, they are good garages they say, I stopped adding additives when I stopped using 20/50 in old shitters to quieten the big ends on startup

  7. I'm thinking of buying an old cortina and wondered if it would cope with a 6 berth caravan?

I've spoken to trading stundards and they say ask the dealer as he will be able to guide you as its his job

    any comments welcome
