Sounds like a great deal. Thank you though.

I just discovered that my driver license only allows driving the automatic car today! So, I just called and booked a manual driving test on this Thursday in Chertsey test centre. The problems are: 1. I don't have a manual car. 2. I am not allowed to drive the manual car to the test centre by myself even I hire one. 3. There is no any driving instructor available near me within this short notice after 7 calls. The only solution I can think of is that to hire someone to deliver and collect the car between the car rental centre to the test centre. Does anyone know where to hire a temporary driver? Any advice appreciated.

Thanks mates. -
Assume a collision happen during the test drive, and the car got damaged. No one injured, no third-party property damage. Will you claim insurance? Or, will you ask the punter to pay for it?

Thank you met, I used to be some sort of salesman, but not a good salesman obviously. I did find it's not an easy job already. Thank you tradegirl. Your inputs are really great! I don't have any good body shop or mechanic yet. Thank you for reminding me that. I have to do some search in my area.

Thank you EPV. Because I think this is a good business. So, I just decided to star it. Then I found myself don't know so much about the industry. Luckily I found this forum. And I am so happy to learn something a little by little from the forum every day. I do like cars even though I am not a pro in the industry. Thank you so much boring dave. I will keep an eye on the local stores. One thing I can't figure it out is that shall I sell the similar cars or the different cars compare to the local stores? I have to think about it.

Thank you NOACROSS. Be honest, I have totally no idea what I am going to bid on. What I can do is just go to the auction and have a try. I know this sounds stupid, and it most likely will go wrong. But I don't have any other better way to start with. Thank you so much for your advice. Will take a deep look at the Magazine.

No partner yet. Everybody suggested me to start by myself to test the water. Since I am not qualified to work with anyone else. So, I am trying to start at home as the first step.

Just got my BCA account set up. Now I am ready to purchase. I am ready to take the risk.

Thank you tradegirl. Yes, you are right. But I just have no any other ways start with. So, just simply start it by registered as a limited company. Then I found that I need a trade plate. And then I found that I need motor trade insurance to get the trade plate. Plus, when I am trying to register as a trade buyer in BCA, they also need the motor trade insurance certificate. All right, I got it finally. I tried 20+ providers in the past three days. Only one take my order! It's okay. I don't mind to take the risk to get the business on track.

Looks like it included Third Party Liability & Vehicles on the road. No premises yet.

I GOT MY MOTOR TRADE INSURANCE JUST NOW!!! I am so happy. Even it is very expensive for £6,917 a year. But, I finally got it! Thank GOD! And a big THANK YOU to all of you. Never give up!

Finally, I have to give up just because I couldn't get the motor trade insurance. All the insurance companies and brokers rejected. They requested at least held a one-year UK full driver license and lived in the UK two years or more. I won't be able to meet the requirements until next year August. So, I have to change to other business. Thank you for all the advice. You guys are awesome!
-
Thanks tradex. Will try next week. Until all the insurance companies say no.
-
Thank you NOACROSS. Will try brokers now and next week. I also never realise that the motor trade insurance companies only accepted who live in the UK more than two years and held the UK full license at least one year! Until today, I called them, at the end of the application got denied because of that!

I will continue to try if any insurance provider can offer me a motor trade insurance under my circumstances. Otherwise, I have to find something else to do.

Thank you David. But I am in a complicated position. I am not allowed to work for anyone else for some of the immigration law restriction. So, I have to own the business and work for myself only. This is nice. Thanks!

Not at all. Just a new guy wants to get in the industry buy found out that he is not qualified to buy the insurance. That is what I mentioned before with zero experience. It's ok if this makes some fun for some of you.
-
Good joke. But not fun at all. Thanks.

Ok, guys. I have to give up the car dealer plan just because I can not get the motor trade insurance due to my driver license only three months old! Plus, I moved to the UK one year ago. So I can not do it myself. Thank you for all the comments.

I think you are right. Thank you!
