  1. TRADE VET

Was on a sunbed in canaries earlier in month it came to me on a sunbed high on beer, Seemed  plausible, I have all invoices for  repairs servicing  road tax ect from my own personal account, it would stand scrutiny by IR, only reason why i wanted  to transfer it was because i thought it was a tax loss and i am getting a super cheap lease deal on a  new car so 2 personal cars in use does not make sense

  2. Its my  first year of trading as a LTD company after 5 years of being  Sole Trader, Just come of phone with accountant asking 2  questions and wondered if you kind people could help with my issues see if i understand it right. To do with Corporation TAX

    1

I currently run my own personal car nothing to do with company V5 in my name owned it 8 yrs all legit, I know as a  LTD company i will pay 19% corporation tax on my LTD company profits, I had a cunning plan to have my LTD company formally purchase my own personal car and take it as stock, There again all legit it comes out of use and goes up for sale, My thought process was to pay myself £4000 (realistic trade value) from company funds thus reducing my profits and releasing £4000 legally tax free ???, My accountant has said that i can do that but ALL my cars stock is classed as profit and my cars stock value will be treated as profit and taxed at 19% for corporation tax ???, Is he right ?? how can they charge me a profit tax on a car that is not yet sold ??? stock unsold is future profit ???

This year i have done 10000 miles for business all logged and documented, This means i can claim £0.45p every business mile i have done meaning its £4500, Because i choose to pay myself a very low salary my personal tax is going to be around £1000 or so, I know that all directors have to complete self assessment and of course this i think the Business mileage declaration is in there somewhere for completion, My question is if i am owed £3500 how does this get paid ?? is it a tax code adjustment or is it paid direct from the company funds ???

  3. is this buyers remorse now they had a  good look over it, inspected it further driven it 400 miles ect ect and 2 weeks later they then tell you this issue ??

you link your phone up on the  pitch before even drive away, its been 2 weeks ???

as already mentioned i always link a phone up on a car to check if it does have  connectivity and also so you can show its able to pair and connect during a demo

  6. 10yr ago we had a Mini Cooper S come in to buy one of our cars...................... we knew NOTHING about these MIni it had a John Cooper works Badge on it valued it and did his deal..............................Punter comes in on our John Cooper Works Mini and he was fully geeked up on this car and embarrassed us thoroughly when he was able to point out it was  just a badge and none of the engine adaptations to make it a works vehicle, We blew £2000 on that one................ you learn

  7. I have no trouble with self motivation, Luckily what i do i thoroughly enjoy, I have few overheads and  can easily achieve what is needed to break even, But enough is never enough, Its a healthy business that is striving  for more sales and more efficiencies, Who knows what the future brings but what makes me happy is knowing that i got more than my fair share from the end of that month, Knowing that i could not have done anything more to have got another sale from what was presented as a  sale opportunity,

I read a couple of posts recently and some people seem to have had a great month, others only just scraped by...

I had a very good November, probably my best ever (not finished yet so the calculator isn't out) but I personally am never ever happy with my sales, I always think I could've done two-three more, could've sold certain cars for more or quicker, could've paid less for some part exes or repairs and in general when I do the figures I have this sense of unfinished business.

So, do you reward yourselves at the end of a good month or go into the next trying to better it?

every single word ingrained into my DNA

  9. I am planning on going fully FCA accredited over Christmas break but do all finance houses actually need you to be FCA in order to let you sell there finance products ???

i am going FCA accredited purely to sell finance for additional income....................   broker i used this year  must have earned a tiny fortune from me

  10. Handler protect paid out £1100 for me after just 3 days of a car being on the road ( Swirl flaps on a VW Inlet manifold ) not picked up on PDI as it was not visible to test, Paid out straight away happy they did he could have argued it was a fault at time of purchase
