I have a DA account but never been lucky (or unlucky) enough to get anywhere near a purchase. What does surprise me is how many on here are complaining about not being able to use the site when I thought the general concensus was that DA had become a waste of time anyway.
I certainly do not plan on dipping my toes in until these teething issues are sorted. I only paid my £99 in the hope of retaining legacy rights on the off chance the site becomes a valuable source of stock.

Yes and he's the second one I fear to have cocked.
Had an old boy calling from Plymouth on my overage CLS - had three sensible conversations with him yesterday and was certain he would be here today to conclude a deal against his X3. Not heard sight nor sound.
Such a great start to the week too

Only did 10 last year in December. 12 year before and 16 year before that
I am exactly the same as you Noa
4 Sold and one pre approved on finance, meant to be coming today between 2.30 and 3pm but gone quiet.

You haven’t tried Shpock then

Can you see a white Audi, 62 reg, £14500 No marker?
All your stock shows markers for me except your couple of aged TT and Focus.

If I have unused slots I shall leave sold cars live but increase the price by say £500
If enough of us do it it should move the price markers
Anyone else up for this?
On it

I missed a call from Gumtree caller according to my email from the call whisper. No message and I couldn’t bring myself to call them back.
Answered one (I can only presume Gumtree) call today. “It’s about your £500 Transit Connect init, can you do betta?”
You know the engine is broken don’t you? “No.”
It says spares or repairs in the first line of the add and twice more in the description and again in the attention grabber stating engine issue presume needs full replacement.”Oh ok but can you do a better price?”
Wow!
Now this van is far too good to scrap (those who know my website, please look) because the seats and interior carpeting would make a superb donor engine recipient. Just needs that one person but I can’t be doing with the amount of enquiries from the illiterates.
AT bargain slot showing something like 38000% above the other adverts but not one can read.

I have just signed up to Ebay for 3 months. Given my AT bill is close to £1500, what's another £299? Might sell the odd couple a month, so will see. Total risk a grand, so far so shite.

I was glad to be busy the last couple of days but I'm pissed off I missed all this fun - someone, please update me re: the bully.

They have to keep you coming back for something.

Just don't do it too often and never before they have taken a payment because that account will get blocked.

Nah, you can touch the Iphone charging mat, so I am thinking like that really - no science to back up my idea of course. I love wireless charging, now I just want a hoseless hosepipe, i.e. just hold the trigger.
-
I wonder whether at some stage we will have wireless charging, as in car parking charge mats or perhaps even further, electrified roads. Like the wireless phone charging pads on a much larger scale - probably talking bollocks.

Shit colours and fugly cars - is there a reason why EV need to be so ugly. Why for example can't Ecars just look like their IC counterparts?

And probably 99% of punters, which is all that really matters.
Some nice kit on there Sean.

It's been photoshopped in, that's the point I think Matt
-
I think we all over think our pictures, yours look great but...... being critical, the fence is disproportional to the car and the hedge.
Welcome by the way.

I agree with you on this point. I can’t imagine and would love to overhear some of your conversations with people whom just want to have a look, it must be 10-20 per week at my average enquiry rate.

Was the timing belt ok?
I've gone right off BMW (Broke My Wallet), won't eben entertain a 4 cylinder now (especially petrol).

Plenty of time for everything.
8 hours work
8 hours play (drinking)
8 hours sleep
Only 5 days a week though, need to increase play and sleep on Sat and Sun.

Prior to the unit: Meant all stock was at home. If someone called, no problem. Yes, I am on the outside of a few G&T’s but answering the door and unlocking a car would be no issue. Since moving to the unit, I cannot get in my car and drive anywhere because a) I don’t want to and b) it would be illegal as I am over the limit.
-
When I worked from home, doorstepper - I would entertain almost anytime but now I have a 40 minute drive each way to the unit plus a drinking hobby, I am far stricter with my times.

Well - eating my hat.
Golf buyer turned up just as I was pulling the shutter down, quick look and dipper left - colecting next week.
Oh and bonus. My valeter bought the shitter of a X-Type Jag 4x4 for cost (which I am more than happy with).
That makes 6 confirmed sales.
