This isn’t changing rooms and i’m not handy Andy. I’ll try the main dealers mate, worth a go I didn’t think they’d stock them to be honest and thought it would be more mud flaps and rubber mats. Good thinking.

Need a boot board for a 2014 Duster. Not a liner, the board that covers the spare wheel void. I don’t favour those parts gateway type websites, they seem to yield fuck all for me but prefer a good old fashioned breakers that I can ring and they can tell me there and then “yes we’re breaking one and yes I have the part” I have an excellent one for Merc parts if anyone is interested, happy to share.

My October will be very slow to start with as I have fuck all to sell, 3 cars and one of them a 90 dayer. Stocking up is gradually happening though.

Explain why that is it me? Actually it doesn’t matter really. They shouldn’t favour Hall bids, no matter why.
-
Today at BCA Nottingham, the singer/rapper/drill sargent from Full Metal Jacket's partner in crime, brought the once, twice down and an online bid snuck in a last £25 bid, which disgusted him it seems, he apologised to the hall bidder by first name, asked him if he wanted another £25, which he did and then said once twice as quick as I ask for second helpings and bang, hammer down and sold to the hall. Internet didn't get a chance. It wasn't me, I did feel miffed for the internet bidder though.

Dreadful sounding bloke.

I only beat defenceless animals mate

I'm nominating the chap in the UKCG sale at Nottingham BCA. Trying to rap like an MC. Failing. Infuriating style of auctioning. Have a listen, if you're at a laptop.

I’m alright cos I wear jodphurs and long riding boots and carry a whip, people relate to me and leave me alone

Don't worry, I refuelled on crisps and chocolate

I don’t think you know what you’re talking about most of the time.
-
Sorry I must have missed the point. You said all part ex’s are cast offs. Cast off is a derogatory term.
-
Cast off is a bit of a derogatory term. A young couple chop a TT in for an Avant. Is the TT a cast off?
-
It's quite the story although not as sinister as you might expect, don't get your hopes up for gossip!

Hit and miss mate. The miss was that I had a list of 13, that went down to 8 when I saw them, none of which I won because despite being prepared to pay cap clean for cap average cars, everything went a few hundred above cap clean. I can’t make money at those prices so I kept my powder dry. The hit was meeting Nick from Lovely cars and what a lovely chap. Really good bloke. Was very interesting watching how he does things and I learned a lot in a short space of time from him. In the end, after walking up the line in the last sale waiting for yet another car of mine to go over cap clean, I saw a nice bright looking Skoda Octavia Estate. I didn’t see it the night before because I was just looking at petrols and this is a diesel but i’m confident it will be desirable and it’s a good mop and polish away from being a grade 2 car. Engine started and sounded fine, no smoke, no eml and assured report looks accurate for a change. Paid cap clean for it which was £200 more than I wanted but it should make up into a nice bit of stock. So I didn’t get what I went for (everyone else wanted the same cars) but I found something worthwhile to buy and should pull a good ROI out of it. I can’t see myself going back to Blackbushe frequently. It’s expensive for the stuff I seem to look at and it’s an absolute cunt to get to. I’ll be off to Bedford next time out I think. Sorry that was meant for Arfur.

I’m looking at stuff around the £2500 CC price point (looking to expand my stock levels and hold some bread and butter stock) so there’ll be no such people around the ones i’m interested in! Some great advice offered so far chaps, keep it coming. Question; If the keys are in the vehicle, are we allowed to start the car? I assume not but what about putting the ignition on? This is BCA, by the way.
-
Having taken the advice of several off here i’m going to a live auction tomorrow. I’ve bought either privately or online before and I’ve only ever caught one cold from fifty cars so i’m careful what I buy but we’re about to really find out what my skills are like. The question is, what do you chaps ask the driver of the vehicle in the Hall? Obvious things like “any lights on” or “does the clutch feel worn” are a given and I know not all the drivers will be warm and embracing. So what are your favoured questions you put to the driver in the line up? Cheers in advance

Ohhhh! That’s my gimbal; https://m.gearbest.com/gimbal/pp_862370.html?wid=1433363¤cy=GBP&vip=4264395&gclid=Cj0KCQjwxbzdBRCoARIsACzIK2mBIioKXN-aghDI-7pE3NloYC461GRczGotslbTUBsrLAjgr_H4elwaAmDbEALw_wcB Stabillises the phone so no hand shake I mean, hand shake doesn’t shake the phone itself. The gimbal stops that.

Thanks again for your kind words TV, it means a lot from someone who has been there and done it so to speak. A lot of credit goes to Arfur, I’ve borrowed a lot of his ideas and used my own to personalise it. Oh, I use a really flash expensive camera. It’s called an IPhone 6s! Thats it, just a camera phone.

Out selling cars -
The days in stock thing doesn't really bother me. No doubt the public think they have some extra info but the reality for me is, if I have a price, it's the price. "You've had it 90 days mate, come on I know you need to sell it" "Sell it yes, give it away, no. The price is fixed sir" Pointless bit of info for joe public in my world.
-
Two of those bits of info you can get from AT. Price marker and in the browser bar it will state the date it went on sale. Granted most wouldn’t know that latter piece of info but online buying is gradually taking over everything and will be the norm.
