    Factory cant build them quick enough, for the uk market only 1100 are being brought in for 2019 so its roughly about 8 per dealer !

    2020 only 2000 units are expected to come into the uk.

    I know its a pain we could have sold 60 already


  2. Yup we only have an allocation of 8 this year, all sold already

    cant take any orders until next year......... bloody demo model is sat out there every day at least 5 people come and want to drive it / apparently try to order and we cant do a thing.

    I couldn't work it out for a while, its basically because they seem to be bomb proof.

    Our customers wont have a bad work against them engines go forever, small 4x4 goes anywhere in any conditions.


    they just tend to rust and need welding on the older models but other than that its a certainly seller all year round.

  5. Customers who already come in with an attitude despite the fact you've never met them.

    Years ago when I started at a main dealer I had a couple come in looking at cars she was nice chatty, he was just a dick hands in pockets 1 word answers just being awkward being young I was a bit flustered so told my manager not sure how to deal with this.

    Manager went straight over to them introduced himself and asked the fella if he had every had a bad sales experience with us before.... the fella said no.. manager replied well your gonna f**king get one if you carry one with that attitude with my sales people.

    his wife just burst out laughing and said he deserved that ha.

  6. sold a used jimny to local farmers 10k and pleasant to deal with.

    had an old couple on a 2495 jazz spent 1 hour with them, you would have thought it was 20k grand the way they went over it...... said anyway thanks for that we have a fiesta in burnley to look at.... ok toodle off for that 50 min drive

  7. We had an issue like this a few years back, Toyota verso If I remember.

    Has a nav button on the dash but the nav isn't installed apparently its optional to install at Toyota for about £800 we didn't advertise it with nav and it had pics of the dash in general and the customers never mentioned nav during sales process.

    2 weeks after collection customer kicks off saying its not got nav,  pulled up the old advert and showed her we never claimed it had nav, take it up with Toyota as to why the put the nav button on if its not included as standard.


    never heard back from her.

     


  8. Price of Jimnys are crazy, been at a Suzuki dealer 2 years now and we have sold everyone at full price and never had one in stock longer than 3 months.

    horrific things to be in but people adore them, bloody new one is going to be a nightmare with supply.


    oddest thing we took in was a aixam just scary those things

  10. We have just had to cancel a deal with a customer at handover

    On px appraisal was told it had 2 keys, full history ( book wasn't in the car at the time ) and parcel shelf is in the garage at home....

    day of handover, we have lost the second key, service book has gone missing..... cant remember where services were done.... and shelf is lost.. no problem we will be charging you an extra £700 due to having to re value the part exchange with this information.


    customer kicks off and calls us crooks lol. and wont be proceeding. no problem jog on and forget your deposit oh and try telling the truth next time.
