CRA - Conclusive Action Required Legally

The system is completely flawed in my opinion, with a ma The customer is not an expert. How can they determine the gearbox isn't fucked by signing a PDI? Without stripping down the gearbox before you sell the car and getting it independently inspected, you can not prove this -
CRA - Conclusive Action Required Legally

This gets covered so many times, but..... What is wear and tear? Internals of a box. And don't get me started on the customer agreeing there was no faults at point of sale by signing a PDI as it's just a lot of bollocks that a lot in this forum seem to think is a golden ticket..... It's not. Now having said that..... My warranty period is 3 months, and if the said claim falls outside 3 months I would not want to be paying for this old spunker to get fixed. The CRA however makes no reference to warranty's only fair wear and tear and fit for purpose, which as everyone knows is subjective. If that happened to me, I'd stand my ground, explain it falls outside the warranty cover of the used vehicle without once making reference to a pointless PDI (in this warranty claim) that doesn't reference the internals of a gearbox anyways and move on. Most of the time the customer will understand this. If 9 months down the line you find yourself in a small claims situation, don't be surprised if you come out on the losing side tho. -

"My solicitor" oh do me a favour........ -
So it's not the foreigners taking "OUR" jobs after all.......just northeners!!

The paint has to be thin, a lot of the time touchup paint from halfords or other places needs to be thinned as the tip is ridiculously thin.

That pen is fantastic..... Although I've lost 3 in the last 6 months!
-
Best to give it a few days, otherwise you will just pull the paint out of the scratch when you polish.
-
I think they have changed it now. I don't think you sign up for eBay without gumtree, although I may be mistaken.

On the quiet months that your vat payment lands and the autotrader bill hits within hours.........
-
My current advertising bill is £342 plus I'm also paying for cargurus £200 I'm on the 6 month contract. Undecided wether I'll continue as the free package actually returned a few sales. If I sell a few less cars a month, not a problem as my overheads are reduced. In another life I've had the 100 car site with a business partner and it was just too brutal. Overheads of 27k is a lot to focus on at the beginning of the month. I'm happy to plod along, I'll never make millions but ive decided to work for myself and sometimes I felt I had to work for autotrader!

Maybe chat in private then?

I stock between 15-20. I sold 12 last month. Motors or their partner websites seem to have been performing best for me over the past few months, but eBay over the years is by far and away the best ROI for me

These tools don't have value to me. You can see how long a car has been in stock for on autotrader in the URL. As for all the other bits and pieces, thats one of the main reasons I left. I don't need some knob from a Manchester call centre calling me up and telling what I'm doing wrong, just so they can sell me the latest and greatest package that they have devised. When I left I was fully expecting to be calling back with my tail between my legs..... And who knows, maybe I will have to. But it certainly won't be this month. You don't know until you try.

Motors, eBay, cargurus paid and Facebook-although it's absolutely gash and I can't stand social media..... But it's free.

I am now going into my third month of No Autotrader. June and July have been my best months, August has started well. I am based on an industrial estate so have no passing trade. I sell cars from £2,000 - £40,000. I also get people saying they have seen my cars on autotrader. Each to there own, but I refuse to pay the prices they charge. To think that most people just search on 1 platform is naive. Sure some do, but most people will search a few places.

Sold a saab estate a few months back to an 82 year old lady from Australia. She was moving to the UK. After a 10 minute conversation, the full balance was in my account instantly. I held the car for 2 Months, then dropped it to her Chelsea hotel. One of the easiest transactions I've done.

thats some fucking run tho!

I just spent £130 on tornador black cleaning gun and I'm still having nightmares.... However what a game changer that thing is.
-
I would also definitely used 2000 in between 1500 and 3000 as the scratch marks seem to show through a lot more on old paint than soft. I'm sure that's a lovely tool..... However fuck my life. I'm tight and would have sleepless night spending £50 on that!

It takes ages to master the razor blade, but it's commonly used in body shops to scrape runs off and has served me well down the years.
-
Shave it off with a razor blade, 1500, 2000, trizac, polish

At that price get it ready and sell it.... It will go. Is your X5 LPG? If it is then good chance it's valves? Brakes won't be that dear. I did front discs and pads a few years back.. £120inc
-
Did you get to the bottom of the x5 in the end EPV?

7 cars and time to post on a forum .......life is good.

On a 5k advance, you could get £500 depending on your finance company. However, the commission is just a bonus in my view. If it helps you sell a car....why would you not offer it?
