  1. 1. I’m curious how many of you guys are willing to buy cars from auction with no grading/report and accepting the inherent risks.

    • Yes - If it’s cheap enough I will buy it.

    • Yes - But only if I have been able to physically see the car.

So just a little curiosity poll, because some people out there seem to be buying anything and everything.

Add an "I haven't bought from an Auction in many years" box, I'd be curious to see how many haven't ;)

That's my vote ;)

OK, so I did wonder about adding such an option, but thought those who don’t buy from auctions would just ignore.

But you’re right, it would be interesting to see how many just don’t buy from auctions, so option added.

Fair point

But at least the report should show any major cosmetic damage rather than bidding(totally) blind.

From what I've heard lately the "blind" would be the twat doing the appraisals ;)

You have to remember that the condition reports only state what can be seen from a certain distance away - 1m, 2m or whatever.

The problem is we all thought the "m" stood for meters but as it turns out as far as the auction houses are concerned it stands for miles.

Thanks for the votes guys.

Interesting response, as was expecting a lot more ‘No’s’

As the northerners say, “where there’s muck there’s brass!”:D
