Steve92 80 Posted November 16, 2015 (edited) Does anyone offer any form of drive away insurance ? I've seen Hpi offer it but haven't contacted them yet, does anyone here use it or any other form of drive away insurance ? Is Hpi free to the trader and customer ? Daylight 28 Posted November 19, 2015 I offer HPi driveaway sometimes. It came as part of my hpi subscription and just adds another potential benefit/ease of purchase for customers. It costs £10 to me and £12.50 to customers from memory and covers vehicles up to 10 years. I've had a couple of customers knocked back for reasons unknown though so it's not set in stone that they'll get the cover
It's me 615 Posted November 26, 2015 If customer is driving car off your pitch and you logged it on the MID with your insurer then if they have an accident and they werent insured then 3rd parties could be looking to your insurer for compo, this is why i immediately remove any car sold off the MID straight away if ive logged them on,i know a trader who got caught with this dont know the outcome mind
