Tony911 79 Posted July 16, 2019 Hi all, just a quick 1 on payments from France the bloke is very keen and willing to pay a £300 deposit via transfer or western union. How should we go about it? Told him will speak to the bank tomorrow to see how international payments are charged and if safe but told him The remainder of the balance to be paid by cash as not sure on the rules and regulations of payments from across the pond. awc1000 93 Posted July 16, 2019 quite straight forward presuming he's transferring from a reputable bank, give the client your IBAN number (country code plus 12-14 digits) to receive international payments, you will find this printed on the top of your business banking account statement. try avoid western union, it's the scammers fave bank / method.

awc1000 93 Posted July 16, 2019 bank transfer always best, shows commitment and he cant reverse it, paypal is becoming more about protecting the customer than the vendor,,disputes / claw backs becoming more common by chancer's.
