Ditto, I've been like that since I got Divorced at 40, do as little as I can now for as much as possible, and do what I want when I want

I rather enjoy life now whilst i can.

And that’s my point I do enjoy life, I enjoy how I earn money.

On the flip side - retiring early without enough money would drive me mad - so earn as much as you can for as long as you enjoy it, then retire with a nice amount to do other stuff without worrying about keeping your house warm in the senior years.

Look at TV - tried to retire couldn’t, Tradex, similar.

I would love to find someone to take the business on and I pop in once a month for a “board meeting” - my pension and keeps me active mentally.

Exactly. And you would be worrying about it in the back of your mind.

That's why i just buy a couple. Park on the drive and they sell when they sell.

Very little overheads. At the same it keeps me a little busy. Catch a train pick up a motor. Drop it off at a garage get it serviced do the MOT.

Then the phone can ring and in the meantime i am enjoying my life.

I'm gonna keep working at doing as little as possible and maxing my income until I can't anymore. I love what I do, its not a job its a passion.
