2009 Corsa, speedo stopped working

Corsa just come in and the speedo is knackered, was working fine when I appraised it last week! 

Is this a common fault and any idea what it could be?

thats what i was thinking as well abs ring

ABS light isn't on. Speedo needle is stuck half way up the dial.
