2008 Volvo v50 2.0d And hesitation

Recommended Posts

Hi all, as above, cars on high miles at 150k drives well other than a slight hesitation at low revs, what should be the first port of call? Are they prone to anything

thanks

Know them well enough to say they like an egr valve replaced or cleaned every so often and at that mileage wouldn't do no harm to do that plus air filter, oil and fuel filter.

Cheers I was leaning towards a fuel filter as First port of call, it’s not putting an eml on though which is strange

it would be nice if a mechanic could diagnose correctly instead of me paying for a list of parts

The only Volvo diesel you want to touch is the D5. For some strange reason the French crap they shovel under the bonnets seem a lot more fault prone than when they’re bolted into a Citroen/Peugeot.

if you want the cheapest fix try a couple of cans of injector cleaner from pages and give it a good italian tune:)

then take it to the bloke with a brick but only half a clue^_^
