Ian 15 Posted December 14, 2013 As eBay are now offering this service free to Motors Pro subscribers, is it worth bothering with or would I get numpties with nothing better to do than make daft offers, making daft offers?
James Baggott 227 Posted December 14, 2013 I don't see the point in best offer. You know what you need to sell it for and they're only going to offer you a grand less! Surely Buy It Now is the best way?
Ian 15 Posted December 14, 2013 I don't think Motors Pro offers that James, I'll check though bud.
Tom 164 Posted December 14, 2013 No they don't but best offer can effect your feedback. Best offer is waste of time unless your're desperate to get rid of old stock and take hits on the price.
Ian 15 Posted December 14, 2013 Thanks for the good advice.
Andy Entwistle 96 Posted December 16, 2013 Surely, its another option, and its best to offer as many as possible. Many people on ebay are looking for instant gratification, so offering them a chance to buy a car now without waiting for a lengthy auction is not a bad thing... I've bought a couple of vehicles via best offer, at least its gets people interacting with you, and of course you don't have to accept !
Ben-CriteriaCars 3 Posted December 16, 2013 I think he means best offer with classified listings, I personally hate the idea, I would want to know they are in a position to do deal the same day if I was to accept an offer they made. Most would just be testing your resolve.
Ian 15 Posted December 16, 2013 That's exactly right Ben - with a classified listing.
