Mat C 77 Posted August 2, 2016 Hi, I'm looking for a decent ( if it exists ) drive home insurance partner? In a past life we used the manufacturer one and before that we used Aviva, via HPI, but they tell me now they don't do it anymore?? Any help / contacts would be much appreciated. Cheers in advance Mat

Mat C 77 Posted August 2, 2016 Thanks, Do you have to pay for this service?
M.J 35 Posted August 2, 2016 I thought it was free but my first one i did cost £12. Maybe somebody can shed some light and tell us if they're meant to be free or payable.

Steve92 80 Posted August 2, 2016 £12.95 for the latch ford scheme, that's for 5 days. The customer pays (well they do with us) and they don't seem to have an issue. You can either log I as a dealer and complete it (with the customer present) or give the customer your dealer code and a link and then they can do it. If they do it then you need to log in and activate the policy. you need to print off 2 copies of the cover note, give one to them, the other they need to sign and you keep. It won't cover all cars and some job titles are a no go, so sometimes you need to remove business cover etc. It's quick and easy, just make sure you inform the customer they will be called by Aviva and they will try and upsell a policy.
