Paul Falcon Cars 3 Posted December 15, 2022 Hi All Can anyone advise me on a problem with the rear-lowering suspension, the vehicle is currently in its raised position, there is a rocker switch located on the inside of the rear door, the lower half of the switch is illuminated green when pressed to lower the suspension the pump operates but the suspension doesn't go down, when the switch is pressed to raise the suspension nothing happens not even a buzz from the pump, I have checked all the fuses, wiring etc. Can anyone help please?? friar 8 Posted December 15, 2022 Is this a wheelchair car? if it is,thinks it’s Gowrings ‘one touch lowering suspension’ Should go down, but sounds like rear shock absorbers with lowering feature broken. These are expensive. Won’t go up because it is up! Have known people hide switch, call it a day!
Halfpenny 114 Posted December 16, 2022 If its the Citroen air bags system then you need Diagbox or Lexia to extract a code to diagnose. Its quite likely the height correctors since they frequently give problems. DO NOT start crawling underneath the car looking for clues. These can drop like a stone without warning!
