  1. I really wish I'd never sold my first car, a Jet black 1978 Ford Capri 1.6 GL, lovely car and a lot of fun to boot. I always wonder what happened to LVH 191T...
  2. I wish Ford made the GT90, my all time favourite car as a spotty teenager!
  3. Here @ BCA we do sell Cat C and Cat D but not in there own specific auction, if your interested the best thing to do would be to contact your local branch who would be able to let you know which sales have Cat C and Cat D in them.
  4. I travel a lot with my job and I must say the last week has been a complete horror. Earlier this week I was up in Oldham, the journey home should take a little more than 4 hours on a good run but yesterday it took near on 6, the M6 was terrible, the M5 was quite busy and the M4 was, well it was the M4, that and the sheer amount of crashes lately does make me wonder just what is going on!
  5. Exactly, people need to be educated that you don't need a diesel if all you need a car for is a trip to the shops and back!
  6. I've had 2 Audi A6 both of which had electric park brakes, found them to be really easy to use, always disengaged quickly and a real help when parked on a hill. The only time I missed having a handle was in the snow...
  7. Ah but have any dealers proved this by performing warranty work on a Cat D? I'd be worried they say they'll honour the warranty, only to welch on the deal when push comes to shove, maybe I'm being cynical...
  8. You'd only ever be able to sell to private sellers at an auction, reason being no one else will touch them! The idea of setting up your own website to sell them is a good one, another idea might be to back it up with some kind of warranty provided by yourself, personally I'd be quite happy to buy a Cat D if I knew I could take it back within 2 years should the repair work need redoing...
  9. You're probably of the same era as me then as I too grew up with the Escort Cosworth splashed over every car mag. I must say I still have a hankering for fast Fords, Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth anyone?
  10. ooooh now that's tempting, if I had the cash I'd be up for that, would also love a Ford Escort RS Cosworth as a fixer upper or ideally a Ford Capri 280 Brooklands
