We’ve done a couple more than you, but with more in stock. Let’s hope February continues in the same vein.
(Rory will come along now and say he’s done 45 and skink our battleships ;o)
Yep no complaints here
Put a 2008 cat d Touran on this afternoon for £1790, clean and drives well so expect the phone to melt on that tomorrow.

Pretty decent for January - got maybe 2 more than could be done before month ends too, but can't be sure.
1 more of the 2 potentials now a sale so 21 for the month.

We had a Citroen C4 Picasso into Citroen for diagnosis of a random fault in November
They rang me next day and said no fault found and we won't be charging you. Couldn't believe it!

You've not been able to duplicate the word SOLD for years, can't remember why though. But it's been that way since I first used AT (7-8 years).

I rarely venture above 80k.
50-60k on small/first time type cars.

We’re in same boat
wouldn’t panic yet

Why on earth does anyone come to clearly a professional outfit and then start checking the bulbs all work when you have already explained that the car will receive an advisory free MOT when you collect. Worse than that though, people who insist on performing an emergency stop to prove the brakes work.
sooo true, never understood it.

Personally I think this is one of the trickiest questions in our industry
I honestly think a large % of customers think our cars should all be our back to new mechanical standard and parts shouldn’t be worn.
If a part fails and we offer to fit a second hand one how often do they say ‘I don’t want a second hand part’ - but EVERY part on the car is either used or second hand!

Always found this so rude

Yep this idea would be doomed to failure.

We’ve done 9 and ticking along nicely

We were with Lawgistics for 3 years and they were great - helped us no end and I learned lots
since we moved we’ve never needed them. My own experience has been enough. Never had to go to court and feel confident in dealing with everything in house - even the super screamers.

Do you keep your old photos when advertising?

208s seem decent buys for me recently
not as cheap as above but can get 14plates in £3-3.5k region and they are stylish little cars imo with good spec

If you get one from A4C and they have missed something, ie clutch slipping, they will 9/10 give you a reduction.
Back in the old days we picked up a 2002 Mondeo and clutch was slipping and they gave us £250 and it didn't cost us that to get it done (then).
Not sure if that's changed now though.
-
If you turned up and moaned and can prove you've paid they will let you have it. It takes longer and it's not good practice but it is possible.

We had one customer ask if the fact it had an air freshener hanging in the shape of a C meant it was a CAT C
No the last owner was called Chantal
hahahaha

We’ve done 5 and 2 that were sold from last year collected
Realistically I need to fill 5-6 spaces though so that’s next challenge.

Over the last year and more importatntly the last 3 months its been dead, all my sales are from AT.. hardly any enquiries at all.... Anyone else seeing the same ? I'm ready to end EMP.....
But then I think it's only £175......
I go through the same thought process almost monthly, but then we sell one through it and I think 'oh it can stay another 3 months'.
Even if we do 10 a year through it (I'm sure we do more) it HAS to be worth it.
February.......

Good here
10 on the board and it’s our month with no VAT and no rent so 16 would do...
we should do way into the 20s unless something goes wrong.
been very steady
